the DA stacks up kind of a lot, it pretty heavy and when I breaks it's more of a snap. I'll reach out to the CWG guys tomorrow and see if I have the wrong disco.

It looks like they all are Cajun Gun Works parts. You have the race hammer, 85c trigger, CGW Trigger pin and one of two different types of disconnector CGW sells. FP could also be different because certain discos require a different FP setup.

I got this forever ago, sold it to a buddy, and recently bought it back. I remember something about CGW parts but can’t recall the specifics.
the hammer is obviously upgraded. The trigger is too (it’s threaded for one screw. Cz85?), the trigger pin and firing pin look aftermarket as well.
the DA honestly sucks so I’m not sure what’s going on there. It’s go a very defined “wall”.
let me know what you think these parts are.

The Savage Mark II magazine works in that design because it is designed properly. My solution was to gut the rotary mag and fix a Mark II magazine within it in the proper position. I'll attach a pic. Also the extractors need help by drilling holes in the bolt body and putting springs under the extractors to get a better grip on the bullet case. The trigger can be improved, but theres
a lower limit at about a pound where the trigger won't reset properly.

anyone have experience with a savage b22 in NRL22? it seems purpose built but i've heard there's an issue with bullet scrape. Anyone?

resurrecting a necro-thread here. but i'm all about syntech for my CO rig. I don't have the time or space to get into reloading, so while you pay a premium for it, the ammo works great and always Chronos.

long story short I'm just kind of over it.
I live outside Washington DC and work a regular 9-5, but I'm upper mgmt, so I'm always on call Saturday and Sunday.
Matches have become a time suck and i'm just not into it.
I guess this is fairly normal, but I really don't enjoy matches anymore.
Competition is cool and everything, but it's turned something that used to be fun into just another kind of "work."(gotta dry fire X hours a week, gotta drive 2 hours to get to a match, gotta burn 1/2 my weekend to go shoot 6 stages at a club match)
Anyone else ever deal with this? (I'm sure)

hey all. If this is the wrong forum let me know and i'll bounce it over to the USPSA gang.
Locally there are two brand new czechmates for sale for very good prices (~$2000).
so i could feasibly get both for less than what a standard open 2011 costs.
I have a lot of history with sp01s and shadow 2 so I have a general idea of what i'm getting into with parts etc.
my question is how viable is the Czechmate as a MINOR open gun?
I don't reload so 9mm major isn't going to happen.
They both come with a non-comped slide, so cycling with minor PF ammo won't be an issue.
I know "big sticks" are an issue, but i think MBX has solved that.
the 2011 guys can't want to say enough bad things about the czechmate vs their super gucci pistol, thus me asking here instead of the open gamer forum.

I’m shooting my second IDPA match Saturday.
The rules seem to indicate that BUG semi guns are held to the ESP rules.
Thus an APEX trigger and grip work are legal.
Correct?

ok that happened and I fixed it.
The trigger still kinda sucks.
I emailed CGW, they think the sear might be the issue.
