Thanks man. I called them and talked to him about the issue I was having and he said he'd be glad to swap or refund. I was thinking the same thing about the location and the amount of material in the upper portion of the A. I like the idea and possibilities of different mounting locations but a little paranoid that it'll happen again at a major or something.lol. Was thinking of trying the Guga pouches also.
I thought about putting the stud in that location but didn't like the shortness of the engagement area on the upper part, so I went around the corner on that slot so I could get full engagement of both slots. Maybe that has something to do with it. I'd suggest sending it back to DAA and see what they say. I'm thinking they'll replace it at the least.

Thanks. I'll have to try the 3n38. I know it's a great powder for my 38sc but never tried it in my 9 as I figured it was too much for the case. Looks like I will have to revisit the option.lolVihtavhouri has a std pressure 9mm load for 3n38(6.9) that gets you to major easily. Not as much gas to work your comp as the lighter bullets though

Thanks. I also have only run 124s for 9major but since I have a go to load for 38sc I figured I'd play with other options in 9major as my 124 loads weren't the best feeling in all of the powders that I tried so far.115's are great and 147's are possible, but most people use 124's for 9mm Major [emoji4]

Yes sir that is correct. My buddy has purchased several pistols from Adam at atlas and they all have come with the xline trigger. I purchased my pt evo and it was just the grip itself. I just went to the Atlas website and ordered the xline by itself and installed myself. You mean Atlas installs the X Line in the pistols they build using the PT Evo.
But if you order the PT EVO apart from a custom build, it does not come with the X Line as part of the package from PT.

That seems about right. I was thinking that I would have issues on steel targets. I have become so use to the red overall it probably wouldn't make sense for me to change now and get use to a whole new setup. You shot well as usual this past weekend and I continue to learn from you even after your class. I remember in your class you told me that I have a habit of getting into a wide aggressive stance and it hurts my movement/exits and I am finding that even after working on it it's still something that happens every now and again. Thanks again for the tips this weekend! Will see you on the range again soon I'm sure.As for Green vs Red Dot 510C, I shot a PCC with the Green dot and to me, its not an advantage or disadvantage on brown cardboard targets. To me, the Green Dot is a significant disadvantage on White steel. The Green dot washes out on white steal really bad for me where as the Red dot gets more pronounced. The thing I didn't get to test is the sun glare resistance between the two colors, but I suspect that green would be at a disadvantage in that scenario as well.
That being said, everyone's eyes process colors a little differently so what does or doesn't work for me may work perfectly for you. All you can do is throw down the $$$ and test out both to see which one works the best for YOU.

Still waiting on mine from Limcat as they are making them now. But Tevo sports makes them in one-sided and double sided black or silverInterested in trying one of these out. Any idea as to what mount options are out there for the 2011 platform?

Yes sir. I found out from a video posted by Adam from Atlas. On the trigger itself. I rather like the trigger and the texture of the short curved. I was using the shirt curved sv but it didnt have texture and want ad adjustable.I was not aware the X Line came in the EVO? I have an X Line in my E2 but that was something I added.

I'm sorry I don't have a side by side anymore. I must have deleted it. I do have a pic of the dot through the glass. The pic doesnt do it much justice as I'm sure you know it's always better in person. I can definitely say that the Holosun sits considerably lower that the cmore as far as height over bore. Pic belowThis looks super interesting to me. Do you have any pics down the sight or comparisons to your previous set up?

I use a Contour head mount cam. It comes with a single strap headband mound and you dont have to mount it to your hat. The picture is nice and hd and the sound is great. Takes a standard micro SD and very fast to put in or take out. They have waterproof and bluetooth versions also. Amazon has various types and prices.

I also had to open the block a bit. Mine was sticking like crazy and got pretty frustrating. But after taking some material off it slides out pretty fast
I love the Alpha X with the PT evo but I had to open the block up a bit

Is anyone else having any issues with the new Alpha X mag pouches? I recently purchased but am having issues with the mounting. Where the piece slides into the desired position in the AA's. I tightened pretty firm and found that after about 10 reloads it was loose. So I took it off and re-tightened. And again after about 10 reloads it lossened up again. So I cranked down on it yet again and after a few reloads the whole thing came off. I was literally holding my mag in hand with the pouch still on it. The metal in the AA's bent as well as the metal in the ball hinge. I read the instructions on mounting positions and feel like I did everything according to the instructions. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue with the new pouches.

They feel very similar to me. The e2 feels slightly thinner but the pt is super aggressive and fits my hand perfectly. Also the xline vario trigger in the pt evo is very nice!

Consider a halosun 510c. There is a considerable difference in the window size as well as the crispness of the dot. Dont let the 2moa full you. It's more like a 4-6. Super bright and crisp. But definitely take the hood off for the bulkyness

I use to run coated but it was very dirty and had to clean my comp a bit more often. I have since switched to Precision Delta 124 JHP and I have definitely noticed the difference in how clean my gun is as well as the overall accuracy.

Good points. I very much like the window size and the dot is super crisp. I was use to my slideride but after a recent steel match and losing it in the sun a few times I had to order it mid match.lol. you'll love the dot! In my opinionI've been thinking about it, its big yes but compared to the size of the window vs other optics I think its not a huge difference for what your gaining. honestly I think the c-mores slide ride look huge and the window is a decent size but still smaller than the 510c. Another plus would be the 510c uses standard 2032 batterys unlike the c-more and has solar option as well. I haven't actually looked through the 510c to see what the dot looks like and its brightness but if it looks about like a DPP I think I might be sold.

Yes Blake is a good buddy of mine. He is the one who got me interested in the Halosun. Can you believe he runs the full circle and dot!? And he runs it good. I tried it but it was too much going on for me.lol
Someone (Blake Liles I think) had one crap out on him at A4.
The search for a durable dot goes on...

I also enjoy silhouette. I'm at 8.6 in my 38sc and runs great. Thanks though I will have to try the 115s!
I've done it, but not a fan. 6.6gr of HS-6 under an RMR 147gr hardcore match made major.
8.3 Silhouette and 115's is so much better.

Does anyone shoot 9 major and use 147's. I am looking for loads and recipies. My Limcat has 2 barrels and I primarily shoot 38SC but I'm thinking of 9 major for as many locals as I shoot. Any help is appreciated

I hear that. I'd contact Johnny or Julian and ask about wait times. My close shooting friends shoot Atlas pistols and love them. I borrowed 1 while my limcat was in the shop and won my class at Cowtown. Cant day anything wrong about em at all.

I may be incorrect but I'm pretty positive it's the compensator. One bleeds gas different from the other. However I do know that they both are now being made with top centered popples as where the older ones were made with smaller diagonal popples. I am a fan of the top popples. I feel like they run the gun flatter...given you make the right load.

That's a hard one. I got the pt evo like a month before they dropped the Limcat grip otherwise I would have purchased the Limcat grip. The Limcat is very sleek and fits the hand perfectly. And with the Limcat magwell it's awesome. That thing is like a black hole for mags. The evo is very aggressive and sticks in the hand pretty hardcore. I like them both. But my next gun will have the Limcat grip.
