Firstly, Hi this is my first post. what a great wealth of knowlege this forum is.
My question regards single stack mag and my springfield GI .45. I want to get chip mccormic 8rnd mags for idpa (i plan to start competing soon) and i want to know if these mags will fit my magwell. Ive bought mags that were too fat for my magwell. this is why im asking. Also, are there any comparable mags of the same quality that you would recommend?
another question, is my springfield considered a "government" size as opposed to an "officers" size? i assume so.
