  1. I would skip the xtremes. My ts hates them. I have had the most luck with 180gr black bullets. 4.5 n320. 1.115. My 2nd choice would be 190gr ibejiheads 4.1 hp38. 1.110. I have to load mine really short to feed properly in my gun. Anything longer I get failure to feeds. Most ts owners I believe load around 1.120-1.125.

  2. Thanks for responses. Gonna look into the heavier tanfo sear spring. If anyone has a link it would be greatly appreciated. I shoot a couple different guns and most have a 2lb trigger. 1lb trigger is just too light for my liking. I wanna be closer to where my other guns are.

26lb main spring and/or 4 coil tanfoglio sear spring while do the trick

26lb? Wow.  That sounds really heavy. I was thinking factory was around 16ish.

New trigger spring and problem solved.

I can't imagine this gun needs a new trigger spring already. It's barely used. Or do they make  different weight trigger spring?

  4. Just wondering what's the best way to make the trigger pull a tad heavier on my Cz ts. Its weighing in at an avg of 1lb 3oz. I would like to add about 1/2 lb of weight. Is heavier main spring the easiest way? What is the factory mainspring weight on a cz ts? Thanks

Craig1981, what kind of gun are you using?

When the slide is off, is there firm hammer pressure against the frame when the hammer is in the forward position or does it "flop" back and forth?  (i.e., is there pressure from the mainspring against the hammer strut, even when the hammer is forward against the frame?)

Does it pass the "pencil test" - put a pencil in the (empty!) barrel, point vertically, pull trigger, pencil should launch enthusiastically and clear the muzzle by about a foot.

Does it have a standard or lightened FP spring?

Thanks for the advise. Have 2 of them that don't set off winchester reliably. One is an sti matchmaster. The other is a custom built 2011. Matchmaster doesn't have extended firing pin. Didn't set off winchester with factory Springs. Got the trigger job and still doesnt. Tried the pencil thing. Launches them further than a foot and hammers are tight with slide off with hammer forward.

Shadow with Optic and mag should come in right about 43 ounces and some change. unless you are running heavy grips, you should have no problem with weight.

    CARRY OPTIC _1168LOGO.jpg

Those are sweet. 43oz. Is over the allowed weight for carry optic. Weight limit with empty msg is 35oz.

  7. I'm looking to purchase another shadow and have the slide cut for the optic. I have a burris fast fire 3 that I'm going to use. I plan on using it for carry optic in uspsa. Wanted to get it to feel as similar to my production shadow as possible. Wondering how many people have done this and if I have to do anything else to it to make weight. Oh and feel free to post your carry optic shadows

Buy a bullet puller and see if the coating is coming off. If it is, then ease off on the crimp. I told you this before, Craig, but you are too cheap to buy a bullet puller. emoji13.png

I load mine to 1.125 on top of 6.6 of AA #5. I can't remember what my crimp is off the top of my head...

Any particular reason that you dont load any longer? Made a few dummy rounds at 1.145 and crimped to .424. Seem to be feeding fine.

If you're shooting left, a height adjustable rear isn't going to help you.  You need to drift your rear sight to the right.  Unless you have a different reason to change out the rear, just zero it.

The rear sight i listed says adjustable for windage and elevation. Only reason is to fix the shooting left problem. It's the only gun i have that does it. Its doing it when it's bench rested as well.

  11. my shadow orange is shooting slightly left. Thinking of putting adjustable sights on. The adjustable rear from czc requires a 7.5mm front. I see a 1.0x7.5 front sight on their sight. Is that the proper size for the adjustable rear? Or is 1.5 better? Also, i see it says for tactical sport. Will that fit the shadow orange?

  12. Gun, 3 mags, 2 extra recoil springs, 2 extra main springs, lighter firing pin spring,  book, target,  few different size shock buffs. Said it was supposed to come with a cd. Not sure whats on it but i didnt get it

  13. Looks good man! I did a little testing with a trigger scale. Kinda threw a wrench in my thoughts. I got the lightest trigger pull weight with the medium sized springs. With the medium size springs i got 7lb 12oz in da and sa is 2lbs 14oz. Think i may try an 11lb mainspring.  The sa is great but would like to get the da a  it lighter

Will do I will take some pictures and post later. Rob said they only brought in 100 total and you and I each got 1 so 98 or less left emoji12.png

Yeah they did get 100. I asked him about how many were in the country. Took 1.5 years to get them. Before that order he said there was 10 delivered to them in march of 2015 amd 1 delivered in oct of 2014. So that makes a grand total of 111 in the country. :)

Picked up my Shadow Orange today from CZ Custom Rob said they can't duplicate the slide to frame fit as you indicated. What a sweet looking gun now all I have to do is go shoot it. I may eventually get short reset but going to use as is for now until I save up more $

Congrats! Yeah they are nice looking. You may decide you dont need short reset once you shoot it. I personally dont think it needs it. Let me know how you like it
