Looks great.
Did you do the coating or send it out?
If DIY, I have questions
-
Good to know. Thanks.
I see SVI says theirs is 100% drop in, including using the existing safety.
So I figured their (Springfield) tolerances must be fairly tight
-
For those of you who used the EGW ignition kit, how much fitting did it require?
How about the safety?
-
Maybe answered previously, but what is the stock recoil spring weight on the 5"?
Not listed anywhere in the manual.
Thanks

So did Brownells

Is anyone making after market optic plates yet, for other footprints?

I don't care at all about the Classification system in USPSA. I'd rather shoot matches with no Classifiers, because they are mostly boring.
This! Would rather have a fun short stage.

Timmies. The introduction clip on Youtube had TGO, and then two tactical influencer types.
The capacity of the mags concern me. Round counts are 17, 20, and 26 (presumably a 120/126mm, 140mm, and 170mm)? Plus I haven't seen how the basepads for the 20/26 rounders are attached. I'd be more interested if I could get the mag tube and maybe the basepad and try out all the random followers/springs I have lying around to try to get to a good capacity.
If it is any good, after market options will follow soon.

if the quality is there I will consider one at that price point.

My MK IV 22/45 lite has been 100% reliable and accurate. It has eaten everything I’ve put into it from Thunderbolt to Mini-Mags. It shot some Winchester that wouldn’t feed in my Victory. I did install the TandemKross trigger kit to lighten the trigger.
Same experience. The only mandatory upgrade, IMO, is a lighter trigger.
Otherwise mine eats anything. The only caveat is lead bullets heavily lead the barrel after a few hundred rounds. No issues with copper.
My mkII never had a problem with leading, not sure of the difference

Looks to be slower than the popular powders in 9 major (hs6, ac, cfe, 3n37). Close to blue dot on the burn rate charts I looked at. Granted those don't show by how much...

While your at it you can get a foot of their replacement F O for a reasonable price.

If it helps. CCI AR is my go to for ruger 10/22 and Mark pattern guns.

They are great. I lost a few pf using same COAL and charge as V1. Accuracy is identical. They feed great.
-
No, never. Yuck .
Sounds painful.

Zero issues to date. 1+ year , 1000's of rounds.

Received mine today, safariland 578-450-411. Wide/long.
A little bit of up down movement, but locks in secure and draws smooth.

Lucas extreme duty gun oil. I put on all friction spots, rack the slide a few times and wipe off what ever has creeped out the rear of the slide.
Edited to add, there are probably 100 threads on this topic if you search.

Agree 100%, most of the standards classifiers leave plenty of time to get good hits if you have decent time mgt skills.

Finally got around to testing the v2. No point of impact change. Group size at 10 yds was essentially identical to V1.
They fed like grass through a goose. I.e. No resistance at all.

I don't know if it is common, but it did happen to me when a piece of stepped brass snuck through on the reloading process.
Second shot on a 32 round stage, had to disassemble the pistol and then pull out the ring of brass from the chamber.

Define inexpensive
<$300?
A lot of red dots will standup to a .22, but window size tend to be small on the inexpensive dots.
Any primary applications? Steel challenge? Plinking?
