I'm going with you on the sear. I have a Limited that started doing the same thing with trigger reset. Put in a new sear and the problem went away. After that I installed a new hammer from Patriot Defense to keep the new sear happy. Mine started doing it right around the 40k mark.

Remove the disco and you'll be good to go. Maybe take a look at the Henning triggers too.

What are you guys using for a slide racker for the Tanfoglio Limited? After I remove the rear sight will I have to have the dove tail re cut?

Hammer hooks was the biggest issue. The Titan hammer cleaned up a lot of it.

Is it just me, or does it look like the rear sight is interfering with how the c-more is mounted?
Maybe it's just the angle.
It's the angle. The c-more just barely misses the rear sight. I can slide a piece of notebook paper between the two.

I wanted to give Mr Wilson a tip of the hat for the work he performed on my Limited Custom. Outstanding job to say the least! I was chasing the trigger demon for a while and threw in the towel. Polished up about every thing I could and couldn't get the trigger to break below 4 1/2lbs. That's when I decided to give Patriot Defense a call since I've read good things about them. Glad I did. He worked it over pretty good and replaced the stock hammer with a Titan hammer, spring kit and such. Now the trigger breaks clean at 1lb 10oz's. Made it an entirely new pistol. I highly recommend them without question. Thank you Mr Wilson!

I ran into the same thing. It's all about the frame having a round trigger guard that is the issue. I have the exact same pistol as what you have. The good news is that if you call Henning he will get you the right grips. That worked for me.

Just heard back from EAA and they said they are the wrong ones. Doesn't seem like they are willing to help out with it either. And that's with sending the serial # for verification too. Disappointed. ☹️

It feels strange to quote myself here. I have to be fair to EAA....they did send me some swag for all the hassle. Their customer service folks showed good faith with my issue. The important take away for me is this, ask as many questions as you can when it comes to grips and other accessories for your Tanfoglio! So far I have had zero problems with Henning, Patriot Defense, and Ben Stoeger Pro Shop parts.

This is very true. And to stay with the Tanfoglio tradition, my optic rod is too skinny! It would have to be glued in.

Does the Limited come with a fiber optic sight? I think I read a description of it today and it said it came with 2 front sights...A black and a FO. I've read so much today that I might be mixing things up.
Mine did come with the FO along with 2 recoil springs.
