    Tanfoglio Gold Match

    Good morning everyone! I need some help with a new Tanfoglio Gold Match I picked up the other day. The trigger on the pistol needs a good working over. I currently shoot a Czechmate and I’m wanting to get the Tanfoglio trigger as close I can to the Czechmate. 
     

    The Tanfoglio has a trigger break that averages a little over 5 pounds which to me is a tad too high considering what I’m used too. Does anyone have a list of parts that would need to be replaced to get her going in the right direction? I emailed Patriot a couple of days ago and have not received a reply. 
     

    So now I turn to the ones that have experience with the Tanfoglio Gold Match. It’s a new pistol stamped “2020” under the the left side thumb safety. I’m looking to get the trigger break under 2 pounds. My Czechmate is consistent with  1 lb 6 ounce trigger out of the box. 
     

    Im a bit disappointed with the Tanfoglio’s trigger especially since it’s an open pistol. However, I believe she has the potential to be a good runner. Please let me know of some suggestions if you can. Have a great day and be safe!

    I replace the hammer, firing pin, and recoil springs on my Tanfoglio Limited right around the 15k mark. I have approximately 40k through mine so far and had to replace my sear and hammer due to hammer follow at 30k. Other than that, that's it. You may want to take into consideration on how "hot" your loads are. Mine are on the softer side since I only shoot reloads. I'm sure someone will be here shortly to chime in.

    It most definitely is. I was thinking about a used grip module and possibly using epoxy to hold in some helicoil thread inserts? Need to find me a beat up module somewhere......

    Anyone put a thumb rest/*thumb rest [generic]* on their P320 yet? Looking for some ideas. I put a Cross thumb rest on it but do not like it very well. Thumb pad is not wide enough for me.

    I don't clean it often... maybe once every 3.000 rounds or so. Lube? Every 500 or so, and lightly.


    Agreed. Mine is at the 1800rd mark now. Just lube every so often as mentioned and you should be good to go. I have had zero issues with feeding or extraction. I think I'm going to a detailed clean around the 2500 mark.

    Limited Custom Magazine Base Plates

    Where is a good source to get mag base plates that will work for the Limited Custom? EAA has been out of stock for almost 2 months. I have 3 mags that I need to change the base plates on. The mags that EAA sells will not work due to the factory magwell. Thoughts?
