  1. What do you all use to transport your gear at matches? I'm new to 3 gun and will be borrowing a 2 wheeler from work. I'm going to bungie a milk crate on it to carry the ammo and just put my gun bag on top. If you have pics please show them.
  2. I'm starting 3 gun this year as well. Preregistered for a match on the first weekend of May. I'm super excited to get going. I knew I was going to do 3 gun this year so started putting together a few things over the last few months. I already have a Glock 17, or full size M&P 9, to use for pistol. My AR is one that I built with the Vortex Strike Eagle scope on it that my wife bought me for my birthday. A couple months ago I got a Stoeger M3K, so I'm pretty much set on guns. I already have a good holster and mag carriers, but have no idea what to do as far as the belt or shotgun shell caddies. Right now I'm just planning on taking my shell bag I use for shooting clays to carry the shotgun shells. I'm slow loading with it, but oh well.....I'm just looking forward to having some fun and learning from others. Any recommendations on belts would be appreciated. Right now I've looked at the Bladetech, Safariland, and SC. I like the Bladetech Tek Lok system, so was leaning towards the Bladetech belt.
  3. From Olathe. How about yourself??
  4. Not reloading yet. For 3-gun I have a Glock 17, AR-15 that I built with a Vortex Strike Eagle scope, and the Stoeger M3K. All 3 are ready to see some action!!!
  5. I apologize if this topic has already been posted, but I had a question about the ammo everyone is using in their M3K's. Stoeger says the lightest recommended load is 3 Dram 1 1/8 oz loads, but does anyone use anything less than this without problems? I've had the M3K since February and have only been able to shoot some Trap with it. I've only used the recommended loads so far, but was wondering what the lightest was that others have used or recommend. Will be a newbie in the 3 gun world and know that you do need some power to knock down some of the steel targets, so help info regarding the ammo used in matches would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance!!
  6. Hey all!! Been on this Forum a lot and getting some good information and decided to finally register. Looking into getting into 3 gun this year and am super excited!! I'm sure I'll be asking a few questions as a newbie in the sport.
