Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Does this tab protruding from an aftermarket trigger housing supposed to be there? I have been having reset issues and noticed that when manually cycling trigger with slide removed that the crucifix part of the trigger bar would occasionally snag on this tab. The stock trigger housing doesnt have this. Other than that the aftermarket trigger housing looks identical to the stock housing.
  2. I installed a lonewolf ss guide rod, adaptor and a 13 ISMI spring. I did this due to my reloads having FTE issues with Gen 4. These reloads functioned better in my G19 Gen3, still had FTE but not as much as the Glock 34 did. Load was 147gr MGFP, 3.0 TG, 1.150. So I read up on the Glock 34 Gen4 and guide rod springs due to the FTE. Thats how I ended up with the lonewolf conversion guide rod and the 13lb spring. I also increased the powder in my load to 3.2gr TG. After that I no longer have the FTE issue. Just the issue of the slide occasionally not returning fully to battery. Did some more reading and found that some guns require a lighter striker spring when using different guide rod springs. I also stumbled across how to test the glock recoil spring. Should this test be performed while the trigger is depressed? When I start completely vertical the with 13lb spring the slide will not fully close with this spring and the trigger pressed, even when horizontal. Put in the OEM guide rod assembly and the slide will return to battery most of the time, it will occasionally not return to battery while the trigger is pressed. This is whats is confusing me is even the factory guide rod assembly fails this test randomly. I have a jaber guide rod for the gen4 on order but will remain using the OEM one for now.
  3. Anyone have experience with the lonewolf guide rod and adaptor that changes the gen4 guide rod to the gen3 style? I had several ftf/go into battery today at a match. They are my reloads and all passed case gauge. My previous load would not cycle the gen4. 3.0 titegroup 1.150 147 MG FP So I installed the lonewolf guide rod with adaptor and a ISMI 13lb spring. Used a new load (3.2 TG, 1.150, 147 MGFP) and some factory rounds to test new spring and guide rod. No issues. Today at the match all my ftf was the slide not going fully into battery. Didnt appear the rounds were jamming themselves, just the slide not going fully into battery. My concern is the guide rod conversion. It fits pretty loose. If i install and rack gun a few times and remove the slide, some times the guide ride assembly just falls out. Never any kind of issue like this with factory guide rods. Thanks
  4. Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes i saw that, thanks for the links. I signed up for the match today on match signup. Im not sure if whatever squad matters so i just picked at random. Should be good weather i hope.
  5. New member from Richmond,VA area checking in. Just recently got into reloading and looking forward to going to my first uspsa match soon. I have only shot one match, which was steel and over 6 years ago. Currently only shooting a Glock 19. Looking forward to getting a Glock 34 ASAP.
