I'm looking at reloading 45/70 hoping I can getaway with the 650's large powder bar can u dremel it or do something similar to throw more than 50grains of 2207.

I'm 99% sure the golden rod and similar devices don't vary it's heat levels for the plain and simple reason it can't sence the temp as all it work be pick up the heat coming of its heating element. It's no doubt the fact it's only 10w or so of power which makes so little difference. They have a thermal cut out at 120f. But I put money on the fact no matter wait it's power usage will be the same reguardless of the heat well or off in the rare case it gets to hot. Most reptile heat mats/cables work in the same manner so u don't cook your pet snake.

That 220v version has been discountinued. I'm a lecky by trade running power into The safe isn't an issue. The issue would be running a 20w light bulb wouldn't act as a 20w heater as xx% would be light energy. Also would it need to be at the bottom or not so much?

I've put a seal arround 3 of the sides the other side is impossible to seal up. How how do the heaters go with a non instulatted 100% steel safe?

Not to sure were this fits but Im finding it hard to find a low wattage heater to heat my safe. To stop rust due to the door on my safe (plate steel) I can't really get it air tight. I have 3 damp rids in the safe and it takes 4 weeks for them to become used up.

Recived the new primer cam block. New primer fed arm. Installed these items and can't get through many rounds before the primer feed jams up. Bending the primer feed arm and well the disc stops turning. Found primer feed thing came with 2 curvy washers which I thought might of been my issue. But still does it, it it possible due to the damage the previous issues. That the odd nick in the primer mag is causing issues. Any ideas what's causing this I'm quite disheartened dropping $2500 on this unit and so far have rounded 20 odd rounds in 2-3hrs

I'm in Australia do the Aussie units still have the same warrenty/index adjuster?

Thanx I'm pretty sure the issue was that indexing think on the left side needed adjustment. The primers really never 100% lined up with the shell plate causing the primer to try to insert off center. Also what's the best way to clear a flipped primer from the tube? It's pretty tightly jammed in there.

Well I decided to use my 650 to reload some 308. Got every thing tuned in. However some of my necks were to large for my dyers projectiles. But the main issue was using large primers I had a few primers flip in the tube and jam in there I also 2 primers flip in the rotry feed thing and insert into the brass sideways. Any ideas what I've done wrong brass is all once fired and not mill spec crimped primers. I run a totally seperate large primer feed new from Dillon so it wasn't how that part was set up.

Well I purchased a cal kit that was previously returned. The locator buttons are missing is there a simple fix. The only buttons I have on hand are for the 223 and I'm trying to reload 308. I've got a shoot on Friday so can't afford to wait for new pins. Will take a week or 2 to get replacements. Cheers

Yea I've did that to dial unit in. But I didn't spend $2000+ to have to do it 'ye olde manual way' last time I went to range I used 150ish rounds. May just take the 223 to the range.

No. My press is set 308 (just changed over) soon as I opened the package all my keenness turns to well many other things including being p***ed off and anger.

Well bought a 650 with all the bells and whistles. After a 3 week delay (Aussie shop) sent me my small rifle case feed as well as a extra small rifle (instead of a large rifle) case feed plate. Will the small rifle feed 308 win cases? I don't care if it's not ideal I'm just out of 308 ammo and want to go to the range this Friday. I've asked would the shop sent it out ASAP before they revived my return, Nope not a chance. Only way I could get it sooner is order another, pay delivery then once I return mine they will only refund the plate cost. They still have $400 items of mine over 3 orders on back order. Asked could I just pay for a plate using my cc and they cover post (refund when orginal arrives). Nope only if I make it a seperate order and I pay delivery They are about to loose a customer.
