went to the range sun morn and chrony a couple of these loads. 160gr barnes ,10.0 gr v3n37 winchester primer adv 1175 fps. no signs of over pressure, actually a very nice load to shoot. i am goin to raise the load to 10.5 gr v3n37 and see if i can get 1200fps. 10.5 gr v3n37 is max for the 185gr bullet in the 45acp. corbon advertises 1200 fps for the 160 gr barnes in the 45 acp.what do you think?

i bought a box of barnes x bullets in 160gr to try in my 45acp. i think i am going to try v3n37 powder,i figure starting at about 9gr and chrono it. 3n37 is slow enough as to not run the pressures up real high.i want to reach at least 1100 fps.what do you think? thanks

i guess i should have asked my question a little differently, what would be a good powder to use in a snubby with a 110gr barnes hp if you wanted a +p load. same with the 9mm 115gr barnes hp? thanks

what powder would be best for a corbon duplicate 38 +p load out of a snub nose? going too load the barnes 110gr bullet and i want it +p in velocity .same way in my 9mm? going to load the barnes 115gr hp. what powder is corbon using in there 38 +p and 9mm +p? thanks

i have about 1lb of hs5 left from my old shotgun reloading days. what does 8.5gr of aa7 behind a 125gr jacket soft point bullet give me? or would hs6 be better?thanks

anybody using hs6 in there 45 loads?i have a bunch of this powder i am using in my 9mm,38spec,357mag.i want too load the berrys 200gr hp in my 45acp with hs6,what you think.any load data etc is apprec thanks don
