Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'm pretty sure I have enough belling as the bullet sets nicely in the bell before I seat it, and there's no brass shavings. Maybe shavings wasn't the right word; more like tiny flakes. I will pull a few and take a look. Tnanks all for the advise.
  2. I've been loading Berry's and X-Treme plated bullets. I've noticed a bit of the plating on my fingers after loading up 50 rounds. I'm using a Lee factory crimp die and have it set about 1/4 turn in from the initial "mild crimp" setting described in the instruction sheet. Is this a real shaving issue, or is it typical to see flakes of plating when seating plated bullets? Thannks, in advance. -- sparkyv
  3. I'm new to Brian's and have been hand loading for not quite a year. I've learned quite a bit from this and other forums and appreciate all the help. -- sparkyv
