Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks for the info. I'll give a try and report back.
  2. Still looking for a good starting place for 129 gr in LR 260. Most data I have found is for bolt rifles.
  3. Thanks MarkCO. What did you end up with for powder charges for the 130's and the hunter and H4350? Also, do you have any chrono data for the 130's after you got things dialed in that would show a velocity sweet spot? It looked like you kind of abandoned the 130's at some point from your earlier data. Thanks
  4. You have a favorite recipe for the BTHP's?
  5. Hello, I just recently bought a DPMS LR in 260 Rem that I plan to use as a replacement to my 223 AR (too small for hogs) and 300 WM (too painful and a bolt so slow follow ups). I mostly shoot coyotes due to depredation and hogs due to destruction on our cattle ranch. I also just ordered a Dillon 550 after purchasing my first few boxes of $55 ammo. I plan to use the Nosler 129 grain accubonds as I want to keep the trajectory as flat as possible as I don't typically have much time to make calculations or adjustments when I spot coyotes or hogs. I saw a little older data in this thread with some 130 gr bullets. Does anyone have more data in this weight range? I got some H4831 and Reloder 17. I think I might also try to find some of the hunter based on the earlier results in this thread. Thanks.
