I forgot to add that we have separate prize tables for the following divisions: Open, Tactical, Tactical Optics, Heavy Metal Tactical, Heavy Metal.
The stages are taking shape and we are going to have a few new surprises. The breaching door is back but with a new twist!
It is going to be a fun time for all!
Can you define Heavy Metal Tactical and Heavy Metal? (HM Scope..?)

Does anyone have information on the round count for Ironman yet?

I placed an order with 3 Gun Gear the second week of Aug. The order was taken over the phone. Spoke with Mark who was very helpful. Mark advised the products would be shipped the week that the order was made. I selected three gun gear after reading various positive postings on Mark's products. I have not received my order. I have not been able to make contact with anyone other than the answering machine over at 3 Gun Gear. I have left two voice messages and sent an e-mail. No response. This has gone on for two weeks. Anyone know what is going on?????
Any luck yet?

3gungear.com is the only place to go for high quality 3gun accessories. i have their 7 round side saddle and the 2 x 4 for my forend.
Great stuff
I would agree except they stopped shipping any orders about a year ago. I have 2 friends that won gift certificates for 3GunGear at SMM3G '05 and neither have received their gear. Another friend ordered, had his card charged, and hasn't gotten his gear 9 months later. I use a bunch of his gear but I'm not ordering anymore.

John Bettendorf of JB's Custom Guns of Sandy, Oregon makes one for the Benelli. I had him design me one years ago and it is a great replacment sight. He even includes the wrench for the tiny nut to replace the standard front sight. He can be reached by phone at 503-668-4398. Tell him Sgt Nice sent ya...

I have been buying gear from Mark for years and his stuff is top notch and his service has always been great. However.... Two of my friends won gift certificates last year at SMM3G and put their orders in when they got home from the match. Neither of them has received their order yet. I don't know what's going on, but I hope it gets fixed soon.

Rumor has it that the DPMS 3gun will begin August 18th.
Back to back again with the Rocky Mtn. Aarrgh!
Put these with the possible 3G Nats in August and I would have to quit my job
to attend them all and I want too!

No rumor. JP's website confirms RM3G is Aug 24-26. If everyone wrote both match directors I bet we could get them to move RM3G and DPMS farther apart....

Am I correct to assume it's a real He-Man category with no scopes on the rifles?
-
Ok, 3 cents... Why is there so much talk of making things easier: bipods, scopes, lighter loads, autos in He Man? Geez, you all sound like a bunch of open shooters. If you want easy shooting, try benchrest, you'll hit the target every time.

My 2 cents... I have been competing for 6 years and I love iron sights. I have been very dissapointed to see irons lose favor to the point that there are only a handful at a big match. The best thing about heavy metal is that it evens the playing field and is less of an equipment race than "scoped tactical" which I think is a bastardized class. Why would you want a scope in a class that prides itself on difficulty? If you want to shoot scope there are enough other classes. Leave heavy metal the way it is, single stack, pump and big bore iron sights.

For those of you with an IOR, is the reticle as bright as the Meopta? The Meopta works well as a red dot on 1x even in very bright daylight. I recently paid a bunch for a US Optics SN-4 and you can't see the illumination with only moderate sun.
