NEW DATE FOR THE MATCH: Sunday, August 31st.
There was a SNAFU with the gun club but we are now settled on a date. Sorry for any confusion on problems that this may cause. It also conflicted with Hood-to-Coast.

For those of you that enjoyed last year's match, Gregg and I are in negotiations with Tri County Gun club to hold another benefit this year on either August 24th or 31st. Format will be the same as last year. This match will benefit the widow of slain Oregon City PD reserve officer Robert Libke and their infant daughter.
I will start a new thread as soon as a date is finalized.

I would like to thank all of the shooters, RO's and Cadets that came out and made this a great match. Totaling up entry fees, raffles and donations, we raised over $15,000!!
I talked to Paul yesterday and he said it was one of his "greatest days". He was overwhelmed by the support.

There will be 2 medium/long range stages. Haven't seen the final stage designs but probably out 300 yards, no more that 350.
Now that stage designs are in, max yardage will be about 225.

Round count for this match will be (roughly) Pistol: 175, Birdshot: 100, Rifle: 175, Slug: 5.

There will be 7 stages. Round count coming soon. As far as finishing, I would hope that we could get everything wrapped up by 6.

The Portland Police Association's Cover Foundation is sponsoring a 3 Gun match to raise money for Officer Paul Meyer. Officer Meyer was injured during training and is paralyzed from the waist down. Needless to say he has incurred numerous expenses not covered by insurance, such as remodeling his house.

This match will be set up for law enforcement but any experienced 3 gunner is welcome. Law/Mil will be scored separately and we will have Limited and Scoped Tactical categories.
Numerous businesses have donated to the prize table. Glock, Leupold, Leatherman, L.E.E.D, Remington, Thunder Ranch, Benchmade, Pumpkin Ridge Golf, Viking Tactics, and FLIR just to name a few. I do not have a total but it will be a great prize table. The prizes will be by random draw so grab your duty gear and come have a good time and raise some money for a good cause!
The match will be held on August 25th, 2013 at Tri County Gun Club, Sherwood, Oregon.

The new sight worked great and basically drops the slugs right on top of the point of aim.
I'm glad that I went to the (small) trouble of changing it out.
Any tips on changing it? I have never done one of these before...

I didn't shoot this match this year but the scores show 36 people with zero score. Are all of those DQ's? WTF...!?!

I have tried several couplers for my AR-10 but the recoil moves the top round of the second mag out of position (forward) which interferes with the reload. I have given up on them. I have used 3gungear's 308 pouches for years and they are awesome.

There are no HM shooters signed up so this class has been droped, there is still HM Tactical!
Still nursing a broken leg...Dr. has given Ok for me to start shooting at the end of the month when the PICC line comes out! Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes! I am going to try to RO the Johnson 3 Gun in a couple of weeks...oh boy!
