Is that strike eagle to be a true 1x? I would like the extra power of 6x. No repllies/ reviews of the crossfire or monarch?

So I am new to building rifles, think I have all my components sorted out except the optic. I will shoot my rifle at the house for fun,hunting, and local 2 gun matches. Leaning towards a 1-4x scope I have read about the Tac 30 and bushnell, there were 2 tac30 types or models when looking around. Also vortex crossfire...something about the illumination on the reticle is not visible during the day?? What about the good old nikon monarch3 1-4??? This is a mid range budget build spikes lower,decent upper pretty decent AR PERFORMANCE barrel. Optics is a must and I already have an M4 w Eotech. Thanks in advance for all your input.
