Well, I finally jumped on the M3K bandwagon. I opened up the loading port a little further, undercut the front of the trigger guard, added a Nordic +9 extension and follower, swapped out the front sight for a Hi-Viz, added a Cheek-EZ pad, and added a TTI safety and lifter. Still breaking it in, had an occasional FTF with Walmart bulk-pack Federal #8's, but no catastrophic malfunctions.
Got any pics of the +9 extension? I just got my +7 in the mail today but haven't installed it yet.

Gotcha. I just ordered a +7 tube, follower and clamp. Hopefully it's not gonna give me issues being 5.5" longer than the barrel

Just like this, free jogging stroller and maybe $40 for two ATV mounts. At the small local events I went to everyone loved the idea. It actually helped me get to know people because they all kept coming up and looking at my setup and asking questions

How did you do the stippling Cody?
-
Jesse has been posting all sorts of pictures of his new Nordic rifles. Personally, I think they're pretty expensive.

Adjustable gas block and a low mass BCG if you're going to shoot it for competition. I have a friend that owns his own shop and he makes BCG's for a lot of AR manufacturers. He offers a light weight BCG for a great price. PM if you're interested

I got my kit new on here. But yeah they're all over with a quick Google search
-
Ok. I'll give it a go
-
Ok. I started to search for a good one. Do you need that plastic block piece to do the install?
-
Did you guys install the apex competition spring and sear kit yourself or take it to a gunsmith? I was planing on doing it myself, but now that I got it, I'm not sure how difficult it's going to be to do. Thanks guys!
-
Yeah it matches the M3K parts that's what's I was thinking. But I decided to duracoat all my guns
-
Taccom has a match saver under $10. Not sure if I'm going to go with that blue tube. My gun is gonna get duracoated soon
-
Honestly, I think you're better off building one, even if you have a local gunsmith build it, you'll get a lot better setup. I just built my new competition rifle and I know I'm well under what those rifles sell for, and I'd be willing to be my parts are better.

I agree. Whoever I order from is gonna get it all, I just can't decide, Nordic had always given me great products and their customer service is always good, so it's hard to change. But I've heard nothing but good things about MOA and that's why I wanted to maybe go that way

YepAnyone swapping out followers?
What follower comes with the gun? Is it a Stoeger one? They don't have any info on their site. I'd like to talk to one of their reps to know for certain instead of speculating. It's similar looking to the Nordic low drag follower isn't it?
-
That's not too bad, probably looks like JT's old M3K
-
Jesus Christ how long is that setup?
-
Are the MOA tubes any better than the Nordic ones? I was gonna go with a MOA this time to change it up. Maybe a plus 6, in guessing that will stick past the end of the 24" barrel
-
Anyone swapping out followers?
-
I will when I order it. Might be a few weeks. I just built a rifle so the funds are low haha
-
Nice! MOA has the tubes, but they're out of stock on black. I just got my new one myself and was planning on buying a blue tube from Tom
-
That's a pretty Rock Island!
-
Freedom is out of stock on 1000 round cases
-
Firefield makes a 1-6x power that's pretty decent for the price. I have one and can't complain about it. It's definitely not a Razr but for the short distance I shoot it's good
