I have been reloading a couple years but certainly no expert and I have run into an issue. I have this Glock 34 done by ZEV and in talking to some of the competitive shooters just recently learned of the Power Factor... apparently steel shooting requires a PF of 124 and that is determined by Bullet Weight x Muzzle Velocity divided by 1000....
SO rather than keeping it simple I have decided that I would try the 135g HP made by Xtreme... load recipes are few and far between...
What I came up with was 5.6g Power Pistol under the 135g HP, CCI small pistol primer, range brass... and... herein lies the problem.... it looks to me that 1.125 in the minimum OAL but I gotta say... for some reason my Lee Classic does not like sizing to OAL.... the RN bullets are bang on but my HP settings are driving me crazy..
Here's what the Chrono said...
Low...1116
High .. 1156
Av... 1136
PF 153
My OAL was all over.... from 1.127 to 1.068
Everything cycled well.... no feeding issues...
Input, please...
