1. Old style JP 15" 12.6 oz
2. New JP RC 15" 11.1 oz
3. Carbon Arms JP 15" 5.6 oz
All weights are handguard only, no nut.
Planning to sell #1 & #3 as soon as I get some pics.
Thanks for the weight info,
I am currently using JP RC handguard, seems getting carbon arms is the only option. let me know if you wanna sell your carbon arms hg.

There is no thigh pad so the alpha x cants towards your leg more.
I like the upgraded bolts and ball joint for adjustment but a thigh pad would be nice.
+1
I think a thigh pad would be nice.

Not shooting 38sc... Don't know if it could be different from 9mm...
I have the Dawson magazine tuning kit and use his numbers for 9mm and 40... You also get the good pliers for opening up the magazine feed lips... The ones Adam uses in the Atlas videos... also the mandrel to close the magazine lips...
Thanks Ray, I just ordered the Dawson tuning kit.

Make sure the feed lips are adjusted correctly before you try anything more drastic...
Thanks for reminding me that, can you confirm for 38sc, the feed lip should be .355-.360 as altas gunworks described in their video?

When I use the stock grams follower and spring in MBX tube, I got occasionally bullet noise dive at the feed ramp. anyone know how to fix this issue?
thanks,

Is OAL 1.160 = 29.5mm?
correct。

if the dot disappears , that means it's time to work on your grip strength. dot shouldn't be disappear in any red dot sight.

Honestly, I have never seen the lower 1/3 mount. I chose the full cowotness height for three reasons.
1 - A buddy bought one and it fit my head position well
2 - the height matches the optic on my 3 gun AR, so it made for consistency of cheek weld
3 - the goofiest reason is that it happens to be the same height as my PVS14 with a larue mount which means I can play with it in the dark. (Not all the reasons can be for hard core competition )
Thanks Jeff!

MRO with full cowitness base. Great field of view. Best red dot I've ever used.
i am on the same boat, but debating between MRO with full cowitness and the higher 1/3 co witness version with luth-ar stock , so that i can raise the cheek piece.
can you tell me why you choose full cowitness over 1/3?

Picking up brass while you practising is not as bad as during match. I think if you can recover 100% of your brass the cost difference of shooting 9mm and 38sc is not significant. Therefore, I wouldn't do this trade.
