Rob... Wasn't meaning to sound like I believed there was a conspiracy theory. Just was seeing all the comments flying around and no one seems to know what happened. But it seems very unusual how things happened. Sorry you were rubbed the wrong way.

so there is no real PF in 3 gun, got it. So I've read here and there that night matches are getting popular, is that the case or that far and few in between and not worth getting a railed 2011?

Great advice Justice. I have been going back and forth. Now its just a matter of deciding which pistol to use. Those bedell's are nice also.

That blows... My handle didn't change either. I didn't hear about the vets having to redo theirs. That seems like the new guy is trying to make it apparent that his guys over on SCOUT were more important. Bunch of BS.

Are they calibrated to drop around the 165 PF? I'm debating on getting a 9 solely for 3 gun or getting a 40 that I can use in both 3 gun and USPSA. How often are low light matches conducted? I was looking at getting an STI with a rail.

I'm a long time polymer gun shooter. I've just broke into the USPSA scene and realize I'm severely outgunned. Shooting minor is getting me no where, so I decided to look into getting a 2011. Are railed 2011s legal in limited? I am looking to have something to shoot in USPSA as well as 3gun. I know 40 is the route I want to take, just cant decided which route to take on getting a pistol. Been looking at the Edge, Marauder, Akai, and a local gun builder in Colorado. Can anyone provide me some info on the rules as to the pistols with rails?

I'm having the same decision problems without the state interference. I was thinking Brazos, Akai, or a local gun builder. Those all are 2800 and up. A friend of mine suggested getting a stock Edge and going from there. It may not be the best 2011 but its better than any polymer gun and very upgradable.

Been contemplating upgrading my stock barrel but didn't know what kind of barrel to get or if it was worth it. Those 147s seem to be running nice. What's your hind sight opinion? Worth it?
