Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. This is not correct. A slide made for .40 can be used for .40, 9mm Para, 9x21, .38 Super etc. I have interchangeable breechface on my SVI but I don't change it when I put my 9mm Para barrel in the slide. The guy who owned the gun before me had a .38 Super barrel installed. So my .40 slide has been used with .40, 9mm para and .38 Super barrel with the same extractor with total reliability. \\gorgon
  2. You don't have to have a second slide for 9mm/.38 Super when you have a .40 slide. My SVI is a .40S&W and I only switch barrel, recoil spring and mag when I want to shoot 9mm Para. My gunsmith just fitted a 9mm Schuemann barrel to the .40 S&W slide. Absolute reliability with the .40 extractor If you want a .45 barrel and the slide is made for .40 S&W, you have to have a second slide. \\gorgon
  3. I've seen many CZ 75/85 fitted with Bo-Mar. Swedish smith Haakan Spuhr does this job often and used to have pictures of it hos his website. Now he mostly uses flat-based Bo-Mar that is mounted with a heavy duty screw in stead of the dove tail version. \\gorgon
