Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Hey Gents, Thanks for the replies. Sadly repete, if I follow your advice then 2 sections of the shell plate grind on the White tab. Sadly mcracco, if I space it off then I get crushed primers because the tab no longer puts the brass in exactly the right spot. Still puzzling over this one but thank you for the ideas so far! Cheers, Avenell
  2. Hello all, Signed up to see if anyone can help me with my Dillon 1050 in 9mm. I've noticed that every 2/10 pulls on the crank, that there was some significant resistance right at the end of the upstroke. Even without any brass in the press it remained. Indexed it for 10 minutes while watching and finally figured out that it is the shell plate grinding up against the white primer station retaining tab - but it only does it on two consecutive sections of the shell plate, not the whole thing. Obviously I can solve this by backing the primer retain tab out, but then I get primer issues because it is no longer holding the brass in place nicely. I'm leaning towards this being a problem with a badly formed shell plate. Surely if it was perfectly circular then I wouldn't get this problem only on two sections. I'm still within my warrantee, so can ask for a new one, but wondering if there is something else I'm missing. Any and all help appreciated! Cheers, Josh
