What timer do they use? Are there any different procedures they use for running the match? I am very keen to pursue this more. There is interest amongst other shooters as well for this type of club event.

Well I guess only a couple of us think this is practical. I too got a "blast" out of shooting suppressed and will get a different timer so I can see if the suppressor slows me down any. From reviewing the video to get times, the can isn't slowing me down as much as the trigger on the glock. It is a great gun, but the reset is not quite like my SVI.

I have been shooting IPSC for a while and started running a suppressor for a bit of added fun. I know it slows me down and it probably puts the Glock into Open but it is a lot of fun. So my question, is anyone else doing this? From what I have read you need either a CED 7000 or Shotmax timer to get times. I did a video of a shoot last weekend and noticed that the RO basically gave up on trying to time it. I have to say though, it was the most fun shooting I have had in a while even though all the scores were zero.
