I have excellent results using 3.3-3.4 gr of RC. Clean, very accurate meetering powder! I've been using it all season with Blue Bullets 147FP.

Both are outstanding but different. If you know what you need you can’t go wrong either way. In case you want some advice, I prefer Cajun Gun Works. I am not saying CZC is bad but you have to understand a certain kind of humor to talk to them sometimes.
Thanks!! am leaning towards Cajun Gun Works and installing the pro kit myself. Not sure if I need or want to change out the ring hammer though.
I took the P-01 to the range for the first time this week and was pleased how accurate this carry gun is!

I just bought a po 1 and plan to shoot it for awhile, then, send it out for upgrades.. Does it matter between Cajun Gun Works, or CZ Custom that does the work? I'm looking to have the trigger reduction done, and maybe go with the race/competition hammer.

Thanks!

The OR guns have a shorter extractor pin it is CZ part 0330025002
Did you order a standard extractor pin?
No. I looked for OR ,but I on had seen part no. 0330025001. I checked CGW: not even listed

I decided to clean-out extractor after over 2k rounds on my Shadow 2 OR. While tapping pin back in, it rolled off table and into the dirt it went, Lost. I had a spare (BenStoegerProShop).
My thought was, spare is too long, but wasn't sure, as I installed pin; yes, too long as it would not seat flush with bottom of slide. I ordered 4 more extractor pins from Ben, & sure enough, these looked too long! Well, I figured I'll get out my back-up unfired Shadow2, and pull the pin. Pin measured .334; spare pin: .518, BIG DIFFERENCE! What are the odds that the part no. is correct, but the wrong pins are in the packaging? I'd bet on that I shouldn't need to cut the pin to the proper length of .334 inches. For now, I used the pin from my back-up Shadow2, but what's the solution? do parts get miss-packaged? Has this happened to anyone with Shadow 2 OR?
I will call Ben's shop today and hear what they have to say..

Thanks. Do you have a model number for that plate? Just want to make sure I’m getting the right one.

Blue bullets 125 TC (.356 special order profile)

Lok Palm swell bogies are awesome! The texture isn't too aggressive, but it works just right.

I just purchased the plate from eric grauffel online shop. I ordered from eric in late December, and it arrived from France last week, as I thought it would take longer to arrive.
I mounted it Sunday so I haven't tested it yet. Eric was the only shop at the time that had them in stock. CZ-USA have been out of stock for over a month!

Overkill, AND a total waste of space. You can always use more storage on a bench.

IF you order from BBI, and it is shipped through UPS( max wt :48lbs), it’s fast. I order on 9/17, shipped on the 21st and it arrived on 9/24.

Based on what y'all say, I guess I'll be waiting for a while more.
Placed an order of 3.6K of 9mm 125TC .356 on Aug 3. Heard nothing yet.

Seems like a reasonable step to me then.
What does your daughter like to shoot? Has she had a chance to pick her own gun yet? Having her choose 'her pistol' might pay extra dividends in bond time and interest in the sport, in contrast to a mostly idle gun.
My daughter likes my Glock 17 gen 5mos, but shot the Shadow 2 last week and likes the S2 more! She hasn't participated in any matches yet, but hopefully before the end of this season.

Get the second S2 OR. That way you don't need to get a new holster for your backup.
Smart. I had not thought about that! any money saved is a good thing in this sport. Thanks!

If you like the S2, a duplicate gun and dot makes sense for a serious shooter. Maybe the most important part of that is the extra slide and optic.
I don't know your financial situation to know whether the purchase makes sense for you, but let me share how I would prioritize shooting USPSA:
If you're travelling to matches and playing airfare or for hotel rooms, absolutely get a second gun set up identically to your main. It seems most people here have a match gun and a dry fire gun, with the dry fire gun serving as the backup at major matches.
If you're only shooting locally at 5k+/yr and $20-$30 a weekend, but don't yet don't reload. Your next priority should be a quality reloading press of some description, not another gun.
If you're shooting less than 5k/yr and buying ammo, maybe reloading is a hobby you want to consider. But I consider this a casual level of participation in USPSA and you probably have other shooting interest or completely separate hobbies that you're weighing the decision against and I'd advise you to not rush into any purchases until you know what you want better. Put your money where you put your time.I currently shoot approx. 9,000 yr, and my daughter is getting into the sport and yes I do reload. I spend a lot of my free time in USPSA and reloading.
I've known for sometime that you should have an identical firearm if you take the sport seriously, and with the shadow 2's larger grip than the SP-01 Shadow is my main consideration for the S2.

I currently have a S2 OR (1st time CZ user) and haven't done any CGW mods yet, but will be doing that in the coming weeks. I have the opportunity to pick up another S2 OR and does this make sense before I do the upgrades on my first S2, or should I consider a SP-01 tac sports, or SP-01 Shadow for less money? I've been shooting USPSA for 1 year with a Glock 17. Thanks in advance for any comments!

Which plate did you get from them, The P10 or the one for Cajun Gun Works?

After reading this thread, I thought I'd check out my TTI basepads, found 3 out of 4 that I have in rotation to be cracked or pulling away from magazine body. I'll be calling TTI today.
