I do. When shooting production, I use a 75 Bull Shadow; for carry - a P01.

If you don't need the set screws, the 97 (it's called #5 thick trigger at cgw) trigger is a good option too. Plus it's cheaper. Find me at Richmond this Sunday. You can dry fire mine at the safe table.

What is the advantage of putting a 97 trigger in a 75 sp-01? I am planning to put a lot of cgw parts in my gun except I did not buy the actual trigger. Now thinking I should go ahead and do that too. I want a stock trigger to be able to stay in production class. Input please....
There are really no advantages to whatever trigger you decide to install. It's all personal preference. If you like the shape of the stock trigger, keep that. If you like the straighter shape of a 97 or one of the 85c triggers, then install that. Otherwise, any of the trigger offerings should be legal for production division other than making your gun SAO.

If you're talking about a 75 shadow short dust cover gun, then yes a CZ 75B SA holster is what you'd want. That's what I ordered for my short dust cover shadow and it fits perfectly fine.
You're talking about CZ sku #91715, correct?

There is no CZ disco on the market that should need to have the wing modified. You're inappropriately changing the timing. It's incorrect. If Zeus shot a lightning bolt down with a message that said mod the wing... you still shouldn't do it. The proper way is to remove a slight about of material from the top of the disco in order for it to sit higher under the sear cage. The keeps the timing the same but allows for a proper break in DA. Is a stroke breaks too soon, you modify the nose of the disco to give it more time on the bar.
So, while I wish you the best in whichever method you choose, the fact remains, and will always remain - you should never break the wing on a CZ disco. Ever.
I'm curious about this. This may sound like a stupid question - but when you say top of the disco, are you referring to the red area as shown in the picture below? Or are you referring to the nose tip of the wedge?

I wasn't aware they made a different pattern. Do you have a pic?
Sure

I use LOK palm swells, but not in the bogie pattern. I usually order them in the roughneck pattern. The diamond checkering feels better for me than the golf ball pattern.

I have an NP3 hammer I bought from Stuart. Absolutely agree with everything he said. My DA pull felt much much smoother.
Would people mind if I collected information using a Google form like name and email?

I'm good with this Slvr. Did Scott mention a minimum number needed?
Thanks for doing this!

I'm interested too.

My first year of shooting USPSA, I used a bladetech/BOSS hangar with the normal 1/2" spacers. Around Dec last year, I switched to a Red Hill Tactical holster instead of a Bladetech.

They don't always fit in the same holster. I have a holster for my 75B SA that isn't compatible with my 75 Shadow. The rails on the shadow's slide that extend past the dust cover to the muzzle won't allow it to fit in the holster because of the percision mold to the 75B SA.
You must be thinking of a 75B that was converted to SAO. A 75 SA also has rails that extend past the dust cover. It doesn't have a scalloped slide. A real 75 SA also has an identical frame to a short dust cover shadow.
See here:
And here's a 91715 gun:

Bladetech or Redhill Tactical. It uses the same holster as a 75 SA.

Does anyone use this combo on their single stack 9mm 1911?
Just tried this now with no-gap Dawson basepads. The no-gap ones don't fit mec-gar 10 round 9mm mags.

BTW, are there any reliability issues with 10rd Mecgars compared to 17rd?
None at all. The only difference between the 17 rounders and the 10 rounders are that the mag body has a small dimple on the 10 rounders so you cannot load passed 10. Otherwise, it's the same mag.

Why not just buy my CTS LSP that is listed in the classifieds ??? ;0)
Not that out of state folks may care about those of us in CA, but if the handgun an individual is trying to purchase isn't on this roster:
Then the individual cannot purchase the handgun from a FFL unless said individual is roster exempt (basically LEO). There are certain ways where roster does not apply. The most common situation being a CA resident selling/transferring to another CA resident which in CA is known as a private party transfer (PPT for short).
This is why off roster firearms such as CZ shadows, various Tanfoglio models and other competition oriented handguns command such a premium here in CA. They're just a lot harder to come by since supply is extremely low.
-
It would take a 75b SA frame (it's on CA roster and same as a 75 shadow; a shadow is not on CA roster) and a TS complete slide assembly.

Mixing Grips
in CZ
Yep, I do something similar. I run a vz diamondback on the strong hand and a palm swell roughneck with a thumb relief cut on the weak hand.
-
I'd say do it yourself too. There are plenty of guides - like Atlas's guide, that can point you in the right direction. If you mess a part up, cz parts are almost always readily available.
The only cz part I'd ever seen go out of stock were 10 rounder mec-gar mags.

Will the Shadow 2 be allowed in California?
If by allowed you mean on the CA doj roster - probably not.
Shadow 2's will be more than likely be only available through ppt (private party transfer).
-
It was in stock already? Everytime I check it seems to be out of stock ...
-
Just a sanity check thing that might be obvious but can be overlooked - make sure your hammer has another hole for the disco. I think there are some SAO hammers that don't have the hole for the disco. Otherwise, that's all the parts you should need.
-
What grips are you talking about? Do you have a link?
Yeah, trust me those nylon screws give me peace of mind. Why didnt CZ use a bushing like they did on the Rami?
These grips:

I like 'em but I prefer the other version with the roughneck texture.

CGW Starter punch and a good mallet should do it. Don't forget to use masking tape so you don't scratch up the frame too much.

Extractor is a good bet. It is surprising how much crap can be hiding back there. I go in with a probe and dig all the crap out, i have heard some folks shoot it with break cleaner.
^this. I use compressed air in a can also to force the gunk out. Also, about every 5k rounds I just take it out and clean it. It really only takes 5mins to put it back anyway.
Any game with CZ’s and carry their compacts?

In my case yes, triggers are very similar. My carry gun has a slightly heavier pull weight, I use a 13# MS on my carry. My production gun uses an 11# MS. Sights are set up pretty much the same as well (black rear with F/O fronts); only difference being the dovetail cuts for the sights.
