For the mrd
Take Swaro or Zeiss 1-8 and use it alone or get secondary 1x magnification red dot on side.
Rifle World Shoot open division winner had combo system and silver medalist had only 1 scope. Both systems are good to go.
Personally I prefer 1 scope system because I do not want to learn new shooting style.

This is my 2017 World Shoot Russia setup which I used also on 2019 Wolrd Shoot Sweden. All settings and adjustments exactly same because I used same ammo on both matches.
Both sights are Nord Arms.

Our national reservist 3gun organization just banned those trigger finger released holsters because of one accident on our national match.
Better be safe than sorry.

It was real nice to see you in the match and have a word for a long time.

I have M1, M2 and 1301. All of them are excellent shotguns for 3gun or shotgun matches.
All of them have also Nordic tubes.

It really doesn't matter which of those 2 you are using. I have both.
Currently my M1 is made for modified division (comp attached) and 1301 is for standard division.
My wife likes more the 1301 than M1 or M2. She is going to use it on Shotgun World Shoot and I will use the M1.

Nice. You can have your Bora BR99 for $400-500. I have to pay 1090 euros for it which is aprox $1300.
I just ordered mine + 6 10rd metal magazines. SG will arrive Jan-Feb.
Same gun in England will cost 630 euros.
I hope the gun works so I can forget my Molot Vepr (malfunction factory) on the closet.

I am trying to ''bypass '' the auto turn off ,and i think it can be done .
Or i mess up the scope
Any success bypassing the automatic turn off feature?
Has there been any development on disabling the automatic turn off feature?
I tried to google, but couldn't find any solutions.
Trying to decide between Swarovski z6i 1-6x24 and Leica Magnus 1-6.3x24 and the auto-off seems to be a deal breaker for IPSC usage.
Did you read the toiminta-ampujat forum? I think one managed to turn the feature off by removing the battery while the power was on and that trick made the "auto cant power off" feature dissapear.

Geometry of the port opening depends on which hand you are using for loading 2/4.
For the weak hand it's different than strong hand (shoulder type loading).

Kurt won senior category on semi auto standard division and got IPSC president medal.
It was very nice to meet old friends and make also new ones.
Previously I met Kurt and Trapr 2009 ERC match in Norway.

Raine promised to be there and compete. I think that's the only match he will be shooting this year because of his wrists and shoulder problems.

Aprox 10 competitors on waiting list.
The match will have reduced safety angles (left and right direction) on many stages but I believe most of the competitors are used to them.

There is 4 competitors from USA registered to the match.
Michael, Kurt, Trapr and HRider
Visiting Finland with guns is very easy.
Match organization only need info of your date of birth, full name, gun make/model and serial number.
Then they will apply permit from police department and police will deliver the same info to the customs at the airport.
Basically the main match is full but there might be chance that couple reserved slots are released.
Ps. Only 1 Russian has registered to the match. There will be more shooters (3) from Ukraine.

Please use commercial ammo only which do not penetrate steel targets.
Test your ammo before entering to the match.
Our steel targets are made of Hardox 500/Armox 500/Raex 500
Using military ammo (like 5.56 Nato SS109) which penetrates steel are deemed to be unsafe and competitor using such ammo will be given DQ for safety violation.

Internationally sanctioned Level III IPSC Match at 23-24 August 2014.
Match is going to be held on 2 different locations at the same time.

Entry fee is 120 eur for individuals and should be paid before 15 th July 2014.
Ladies and juniors will shoot the match half of price (60 eur)
According to Nordic agreement there is no fee for Nordic teams.
Club teams for National match need to pay 50 eur team fee for registration.
Registration is accepted only if entry fee is paid before deadline (15.7.2014).

I hope we can secure the ranges for that weekend even though there is Paratroopers Regiment Aniversary same weekend which may affect our range reservation.
If that weekend is not possible to get from our military then we need to put it on 30-31. August.

Come to Finland next August 23-24. 2014 and compete against european top rifle shooters.
You may find aprox 18 nice rifle stages with Nordic style.
Means there are long range, mid range an close range shooting.
More info after this tyear has passed and our military base confirms our range reservation for that match week.
Sorry Kurt and Trapr I couldn't get the 3rd range for the match so it will be on 2 locations.
I will post match invitation on this forum also after main things are settled.

Choosing muzzle break depends configuration of your rifle and what division you are shooting.
There is no such thing that "this one is the best".
