Springer precision magwell. I am in the same boat as you, looking for a spare slide to mount an optic. I would never sell this gun, best one I have ever owned.

If the CSO allows that type of behavior, your in the wrong squad. I participate in this sport to have fun, I certainly won't make a living doing it. With that in mind, I would expect the "official" to handle the issue before it becomes a safety concern.

I don't like soaking mine because of the loctite. If I didn't use it I would soak mine for sureAny reason why I shouldnt soak mine in Hoppes overnight, then get the toothbrush out?
Thanks for replying. That makes sense. I dont have to loctite because its a czechmate and the guiderod "locks" the comp in place.

I shot some 147s through my czechmate today with tightgroup. I didnt really like that it took a week and a half to hear the steel ring at distance on outer limits. Gonna stick to 115s loaded light.

That's a good policy. I have shot IDPA classifiers when I first started and not been allowed to reshoot when I had a equipment issue. Done with IDPA.

I used to find it fun until I started shooting more sanctioned matches. The good ole boy system of penalizing people who aren't your friends ruined it for me. Call a procedural for you but not the other guy, bs. If you love rules to follow then IDPA is your game.

I just moved to open and will be shooting a czechmate as well. Have you tried 124g bullets and what didn't you like about them?
Why no factory or aftermarket slides available for CZ-75?

Cool man, no worries. I am not desperate to sell them but not reserved either. I am gonna try a Springer Precision dovetail optics mount just to see if the gun is gonna make me happy to compete with. The mount is only 50$. If I like it after a few club matches, I am going to go ahead and get my slide milled. Hopefully I will run across an irons only slide down the road.
