I saw a 625 the other day with black rubber(?) grips with white marbling through them.
Does anyone know who makes these?
Thanks

Thanks HSMITH.
A few years ago at THR you told me about Clays.
As I get older and not being to fond of recoil any more I am using Clays in all my loads and am enjoying shooting as much as I ever have.
Thanks Very Much

Using a light load for my 1911,(S&W lightly sprung) 3.6grs Clays, 200swc and Fed LP #150 for punching holes in paper.
I'm almost out of Federal primers. None to be had locally.
In the back of some stuff I found a full box (1000) of CCI LP #350 Magnum Primers. Dated 5.84.
So I would really like to use them. I'm thinking with 3.6grs of Clays probably won't make much difference?
Any advice?
Thanks

I use Precision Delta's 185 lswchp. It's great, plus fast shipping and nice people to deal with.

Thanks for the info.
Where is it best to drill, by the end of the trigger or about a 1/4 inch up?
Would a rod inside the rebound slide work? Trial and error I guess?
Thanks

I've got about 3/16 inch overtravel when shooting DA.
The gun is DAO so SA won't come into play here.
I would really like to install a trigger stop through the trigger guard.
I would appreciate any advice you could offer.
Thanks

I ordered a CR Speed Belt from Ghost Products any got it in 4days. Great service!
I measured my waist through my pant loops and added 3 inches. I ordered a size 38.
The belt measures 46 1/2 inches. The round trip postage would be at least 10 Bucks.
So... I would like to cut off 2 inches from the outer belt and it would work fine.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Its a great belt and I'll practice alot more because of its ease of use.
Thanks

John Travis, Thanks for the posts. I've been shooting 1911s for many years and always love getting to know them better.

No internet deals to be found. Looks like one price across the board. OH Well...
ima45dv8,
"Does CED have a distributor channel, or do you have to order directly from them?"
-
I hate those leg seeking bullets.
Thanks

Thanks for the input. Looks like its going to be the CED.

I would really like to get a chronograph and have been looking at a CED Millennium Chronograph. I like the seperate key pad especially not being connected to the sky screen unit. I also want a PC connection.
Does any one have any experience with this one?
Thanks.

Carlos in another thread a while ago you told me to try a heavy bullet with fast powder in my 9mm. I loaded some 147gr Zeros with Clays and You were right. There is almost no recoil. My thinking was light powder charge with light bullet, but this is really different.
So I love my 9mm even more.
Thanks again

Hammer Block - leave it in, take it out?
in Revolver Forum
Posted
On your comp / range S&W revolvers, do you remove the hammer block or leave it in?
Does removing it result in a lighter DA pull?
I understand the safety consequences.
Thanks
