The Sjc frame weight for glocks has been on the scene for a while and I’m wondering if anyone has just gone ahead and not used the aluminum t plate that comes with it to protect the frame and just screwed the weight into the frame? And if so, has it really caused any significant damage to your frame? Did it stay put? I’m only curious because my T plate recently broke (most likely from tightening the screws too much) and with another on the way, curious if I even need it.
