It's not a factory gun; can't that piece just be rewielded?

It's not the grip............it's the small loop or eyelet on the frame.

There is a small loop on the bottom of the frame; it's where the grip screws hold the grip and frame together. That loop has broken, and it looks like it was previously welded/repaired. It literally has seperated from the frame. Can it be re-welded?
