  1. I am building a 300 AAC Blackout with a 8.5 inch barrel that will have a Surefire muzzle brake on the end. I will will be attaching a Surefire suppressor on it as soon as the suppressor is approved. I plan to put a 11" rail on the SBR. I was wondering what would happen if my hand was near the muzzle brake while on the rail. The gun will mainly be shot suppressed but I would like the option of shooting non-suppressed as well. I was just wonder the effects of the blast on my hand. So far my only plan is to put a hand stop so my hand doesn't go past the end of the muzzle brake. Has anyone came ran accross this situation or have any advise to offer? I am looking to have the suppessor stick out of the rail by only a couple inches.

  2. I bought skateboard tape. It was .99 cents for a 12x12 square which I got 3 grips out of for Glocks. After I squeezed it on with my hand I took a hair dryer to it and pressed it on tighter. It has been two years and still looks amazing but more importantly is still super grippy.

  3. I believe glock says 6" at 25 yards is considered acceptable. I feel as though it's tighter than that but the problem is me at 25 yards not the gun. Are you talking bench rest or actually shooting?

  4. I have heard of people using those barrels but are they as reliable? I shoot factory ammo currently so would I need to adjust my recoil spring or change my ejector? I'm not sure if you have been to Louisville but they have some great matches there for both three gun and USPSA.
