  1. If you like to tinker or play with things, stay away from the pinned 14.5. Changing out comps is a PITA on 14.5" barrels. I run an 18" on everything because I like one setup and don't practice enough to switch between two. Most of the club and major matches I shoot at go out to 600 yards. I've got a Larue 18" thats sub MOA and works great for me.

  2. So I can reduce the powder load to 4.0 or maybe even 3.9 but as of now I'm very comfortable with the load. It shoots very flat and there is virtually no recoil/fireballs/anything wonky (scientific term there). In regards to the bullets I'm using, I was using 180 GR bayous before and met a local fellow a while back who makes these 200's. This test run was from a sample pack that he sent me and needless to say I'm very impressed with the quality of the bullets!! Consistent sizing and the coating is great! They also punch a nice hole [emoji4] I know he's on the forums, so I'll have to direct him to this post as he has some load info for 200gr bullets as well.

    Hope this helps!!

Thanks for the kind words. I'm going to try and become a forum dealer here shortly.

BTW I'm using 4.3gr of 320 @ 1.17 and getting about 169 PF. Its been awhile since I've checked it though. I need to before I start loading for the season.

  3. Just got word today that our annual sales meeting is at the plant in Grand Rapids. Not looking forward to going that far north in the winter. And being gone all week for meetings. :angry2:

Believe it or not, some of us actually live here :) If you're interesting in meeting up with a fellow benos member, let me know. I don't know where in town you will be, but I'm sure we can find a place for lunch or something. Or, if you want to go shooting, we have several indoor ranges.

This Texas boy is not looking forward to going there in the winter. I'll be at the HME plant and they haven't sent us a schedule yet so I'm not sure about most of it. I'll send you a PM when I know more.

  4. I build fire trucks and deal with NFPA daily. They are just suggestions. Yes most places use the suggestions to form local laws. But the NFPA guidelines are just that, guidelines. Check with your local fire department. My local department knows that if my house catches fire to evacuate the block. ?

  5. It's my understanding they are a similar grade to SV Infinity guns, but they don't manufacture many of their own parts like infinity does. They do make their own hammers, magwells, and modify their own grips I think... Cool think I noticed is they use a CZ/Tanfo style front sight dove tail, interesting.

Not even close IMO. For that money I'd have an SV

  6. I'd like to see 8 round major in production

Why not 10 round major like in L10?

I don't see that ever happening. There's no advantage to shoot minor. I'm thinking make it like SS 8 major and 10 minor. Your choice, capacity or points. I'd be ok letting L10 go if they added major to production.
