Friday starts at 8:45 for the shooters meeting. Yes. Matchbook will be emailed in the next couple of days. Registration on Thursday is from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

It's not too late to get in on the fun. We've had a few cancellations, so there are a couple of slots still available for the 2016 X-Treme Bullets and Freedom Munitions Georgia State Championship.

Since we are about 2 weeks out, here are the PRELIMINARY stages as we are still waiting on NROI approval. Most start positions are hands by sides, one is surrender and another is palms on marks. They are practically equidistant. I'd pick the side that is more convenient to where you are driving from.

You work 1 day, you shoot the other day. Either way, we will be contacting the staff with their assignments shortly.

5 adventurous people signed up for CO. You can shoot it if you want, it's just no where near where it needs to be for recognition.
I'll post the stats matrix this weekend so people get to see where we stand after the latest DB roll.

To answer ShortBus' questions:
We have setup our first match hotel for the State Match. Unfortunately the area around the match tends to be on the high end for decent hotels. We have a group rate at the Comfort Inn and Suites 905 Buford Rd Cumming GA 30041 770-889-4141
The rate is $120 and the code when calling in is USPSA to get this rate. The rate expires on 7/22.
My intent is to continue to look for more affordable options and will post up if I find any suitable hotels at better prices.

Regarding stages, they are with NROI now. Once we get them approved by Troy, we will post them here and on our facebook page. Probably a few weeks from now.

We've had a few people drop out of the State Match. We have sent emails to everyone on the wait list the last few days and now are opening up those available slots to anyone who's interested. As of now, we have 2 Friday slots, 7 Saturday slots and 4 Sunday slots. If you want one of these, send us a note: uspsagastatechampionship@gmail.comFirst come first serve at this point.Thanks.

The wait list is not by day, but for the whole match. We have been contacting people individually as slots open up. At this point Saturday and Sunday are totally booked (with some slots reserved for our sponsors). Right now we have 4 slots left for Friday.
Having said that, it is possible that our sponsors might give up some of those slots, at which point we will reach out to people. If you want more details send us a note:

Collin, right now we only have Friday slots left. We are going down the waitlist checking with shooters to see if fhey can shoot on Friday. We only do that in batches to make sure we don't oversell.

correct. You can reach us at uspsagastatechampionship@gmail.com . Also, people will be allowed to sign up, and squad without having to pay immediately with the expectation that payment (or exemption) is handled within 2 weeks. So those who ask and are accepted to work the match will not have to pay the registration fee.

Yes, 8 PM Eastern on 5/9 (next Monday). Registration will be on Practiscore. I'll post the link to it tonight after we test and make sure all the signup and electronic payment options work as expected.

The data on the USPSA site only gets updated once a month during the database role. All shooters that did not renew their membership before the database was updated showed us proof of renewal when they came through during registration (as per 6.4.1).

We don't have a dedicated bay for that. However, if you are nice to the Chrono CRO, he might let you function test/ check zero on his stage when there are no squads there. All match/safety rules apply there.
