So i would prob be better off just buying the hicap pistol complete then chewing up my working gun then, cause im assuming they wont go back to the single stack frame when you are done?

Hello all I have a question I have looked all over online and received no definite answer. My question is can i take my 1911 45 acp slide and mount it on a 2011 or another double stack frame without any gunsmithing. i heard there is a feed ramp issue. I would like to know cause i am shooting a Springfield xdm that is all decked out for limited/limited 10 but i like the double stack 1911/2011 and would like to shoot that but if i can put a frame on my slide I will do that.

Hello all. I am going to be new to the limited class in uspsa and was wondering what companies have good mods for the springfield xdm 5.25. I know mag well, trigger group, magazines or just base plates, and polishing the sears and all that good stuff. I just don't want to break the bank. Any input is welcome. Thanks all. P.S. I shot a Springfield a-1 loaded in the single stack division.
