No spin here. ~ 60K and it goes to the recycle bin.

Good to know you are working on a 300BLK tool head for the 1050.
-
$503 for the 1500 and carbide trim die....thinking!
-
It sounds expensive but if you are a high volume 300blk it makes sense. I have gone thru 3x Whidden trim dies already in a 4 month period.
@ $58 a pice thats $177
Whidden is an excellent trim die but it is NOT carbide. The new Dillon 300BLK Carbide trim die will last longer and you should be able to use less lube, this will save time and $.

If intended to cut down 300BLK, the tool head won't allow to use the vacuum adapter without milling down the 1050 tool head. Dillon won't support modifying the tool head.
That's why it ok on the 650 but you need the new modified 650 tool head.
It should work with the modified 1050 heads......but need to wait util I get mine and confirm.

Looking at the pics it seems to be GS1 or GS2.

Under locator #1and all plastic parts with red grease works for me.....you MUST read and follow Dillon's manual

650 was my first press....now I own 3x 1050s and 1x 650.
650 have seen over 150K cases and still going strong, I keep it clean and lubed.....that's the key.

I am waiting to see how it works cutting 223/556 all the way to 300BLK in one pass. Hope to see a nice even cut with not much burr.
-
I guess you modified the too head locating pin because it shouldn't move on that tool head...or I am missing something?
-
This is how it should be. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see the 300 BLK full length trimming video!

I have a couple 1050s and 650s, If I am pulling the handle I am standing.

I process TONS of LC once fired .308 on my Dillon 1050 and I use Dillon steel Full sizing dies.
I used Imperial Wax and Dillon lube but same same results so I know it is NO a lube issue.
After sizing I Gauge the cases using my Dillon .308 case gauge, NO problem. I take the same case and drop it in the Sheridan .308 case gauge but it won’t go all the way.
If I drop the cases backward in the Dillon gauge it goes ~ 3/4” but only ~ 0.20” in the Sheridan.
Seems like the case gauge is a little too tight at the web. Anyone experienced same issue?

GREAT Idea.....please we need the final version ASAP!

I like this!

Can you share the ebay seller for the 3ph motor and VFD ?

I should get my die back tomorrow.

I ordered the 300blk trim dies set from GSI but the "roughing" die was sent back for replacement. It won't "hold" the case but the case will spin if I used lube per their instruction.
Also It was "loose" at the case mouth and the brass will vibrate while trimming causing marks to the case mouth.
I should hear from GSI on monday.

Just awesome…..one of the best I have seen.
