I broke my first one instantly during the first range session while zeroing. RMAed and they sent me a brand new one, and the zero shifted on me in under 500 rounds on my P-10F. I'll probably RMA it or put it on a steel challenge gun, but I'm not buying any new ones going forward.

The new Vortex dot looks good to me.

    What is the vortex dot

The only thing I didn't really like was the thing it excelled at. The dot with the 8 MOA ring was too clean and clear that it was distracting. I'm used to 6 moa dots and didn't think 8 was going to be a big deal and I was noticeably slower. I tried it for about 6 months and couldn't really get the hang of it. Using the Swampfox Justice 2, 6 moa, and I'm faster with it. The optic is great and the 2 MOA dot is good for zeroing. It was just not for me.

I got my hands on one the other day and thought it was pretty crisp , I didn't think I would like the green dot but damn to me it's easier to pic up

  3. I was wandering if there has been any problems with the durability,  im contemplating shaping out a few of my DDP with the 507comp but figured I'd post here before I bought acouple

  4. I use atlas and MDT bipod I had a harris and it worked good , if you go the Harris route make sure you get one that you can can't.  The Harris is the easiest to deploy that being said I probably use a bag more than I do a bipod as far a sling goes its had to beat a vtac

Been trying to get a gun built by him for prob over a year.  Was told ok to send the parts in November, then when I followed up to get a copy of his FFL, was told to hold off since he was backed up.  Would still like to get it done, but no idea what's up at this point.  Not complaining, as I know he's a one man shop and def in demand.  But you may be in for a wait.

He told me 10-12 months on a pistol

So I take it that to you by the time you get a VR80 running like a scalded rat you are into Dissident money

It will be a full-on open gun - one of the MPA Open guns that they are doing.  Seem to be the best option for the money/time waiting to received and my budget

It will be close to one of their kl12 by the time you get everything for it

  7. My opinion is if you want the gen12 then run what you got till you have the funds for it because by the time you get the vr80 plus all the parts to make it run better you will have paid for something better . I'm not knocking vr80 I have one that runs great but iv also dumped a bunch of money into it and still ended up with a dissident
