You sure did a better job at cutting them and finishing them. I was thinking of using fiberglass resin to finish them. i still need to mount them on some molle clips.
-
Sure would be nice to see the process.
The clips are pretty tight. I've tried to make them come loose or ride down but they don't. I'll see if I can incorperate a small tab to hold the shells.

Been following this thread and the other 2 shell thread. I used 20mm pipe clips and plywood. Still not finished, need to get longer screws and glue the clips to the wood to keep them from moving. Gave it a try and it works pretty good.

Wow is right. At first I was ticked off at here for her idiotic "she just wanted to be my friend" comment. But when she killed Mica it was obvious and casually made the comment that the baby was next it was like a light bulb going off in my head. All those small animals she killed, the bunnies should have seen it sooner.
After it was over I just sat there for a while not knowing what to think. Best episode yet.

Anybody watch it. I was quite impressed. Anybody who has lost someone will feel a "what would I do if I had a second chance" feeling.

Nzshooter, I found the pvc clips on Amazon, 10 clips for 3.60. Ordered 20 clips. What did you use to mount the clips? Looks like pvc.
-
I'm going to have to try the clips Nzshooter used.
Here's how I plan to mount mine. Also made a change. Used nylon spacers to give me more space for me to grip the shells.

Luke: What's in there?
Yoda: Only what you take with you.
Lando Mollari: Ah, arrogance and stupidity all in the same package. How efficient of you.
Lando Mollari: The War. The humans, I think, knew they were doomed. Where another race would surrender to despair, the humans fought back with greater strength. They made the Minbari fight for every inch of space. In my life, I have never seen anything like it; They would weep, they would pray, they would say goodbye to their loved ones, and then throw themselves without fear or hesitation at the very face of death itself, never surrendering. No one who saw them fighting against the inevitable could help but be moved to tears by their courage. Their stubborn nobility. When they ran out of ships, they used guns, when they ran out guns they used knives and sticks and bare hands. They were magnificent. I only hope that when it is my time, I may die with half as much dignity as I saw in their eyes in the end. They did this for two years they never ran out of courage but in the end, they ran out of time.

Thanks. Really helpful video. Fixing to home and try it.

I'm going to make some belt loops out of Kydex. The plan is to remove the metal tubing that runs the same way as the shell and just leave some small pieces where it attaches to the horizontal tubing. This will make the shells ride higher giving me more room to grab the shells. I'll add some tubing on the rear of the caddie to support it and to attach the belt loops. That' the plan for now. We'll see as the tweaking continues.

OK a rough prototype. Already have ideas on improvements.

Thanks.
Went to lunch and bought me a couple of 4 packs of clips. Can't wait to get home to start messing with them.
-
Nice. I was just looking into doing something like this. Did a quick google search and found this thread. What size clips did you use? I noticed that there are large and small clips. I believe the large are 1 to 1 1/2 ".

Mel Gibson - Lethal Weapon.
In the scene where he shoots the smiley face on the target, he has a terrible flinch and is jerking the trigger so badly the barrel is all over the place
Yea he closed his eyes every shot.

Back when the lee pro 1000 kit - with dies ran about 120.00 I bought one and if you're used to lee "quirks" the pro 1000 is really good for pistol rounds. I used it for 9mm, and .40 and did many many thousands if not tens of thousands of round on it.
Did switch to a Dillon 650 last year and by far that would be the way to go beat any lee. I kick myself for not buying one sooner.
Forgot to mention I do also have a load master and have never used it for pistol just rifle.

Thanks, I'll have to try this this weekend.

Can you give me a bit more info on what you did to get this working? I have a old Lee hand primer that I broke the handle on. Sure would like to it to good use.

Just watched it. Pretty darn good. Will keep watching.

They say the entire bullet feeder will be available by Sept. 2012. When you go to their site they don't sell the .223 dropper die or conversion kit, just pistol calibers.

No fiberglass just the resin to reenforce them and smooth them out, maybe use black resin.
