That grip tape will put you way over the weight limit for SS

Years ago I was shooting bowling pins indoors and it was recommended that i have a blood test because after each session would sweep up with a mask. Well low and behold my count was 63. Went through all the tests and chelation therapy was out. Had to take a year off and was checked every month and with each test it was going down. Half life in blood if I remember correctly is 30+ days.
It is a special test that requires a specific tube for the blood draw. Think the glass is lead free.
Anyway get checked and you will have a benchmark to go by.

I remove the spacer pins and feed one case at a time.
If there's a better way, I'm all ears (that don't work very well)

I do not have any primers in the tube when adjusting the powder charge.

I run mine at 1.250. Stretch your OAL out to 1.260. Shorter usually doesn't work for me.

It almost looks like the crimp is above the brass.

Are you loading them all to the same overall length? If so that can be a problem because of the ogive. You may have to seat the bullet deeper into the case.

Oh, I thought they were regular power. The description doesn't say they are extra power. That could explain an occasional light strike.
Or maybe the spring is too long and binds up in the firing pin hole causing light strikes.

Even at 30ft it can be unsafe. Just saying.....

We had about a dozen on stage 1. Moving backwards and to the right around a wall while doing a reload. If you were not paying attention it was pretty easy to break the 180 at the corner.

It is the primers. They do not function as they should in the cold. Please send all the leftovers to me.

How long has Nitro 100 NF been around? Is the old stuff still available?

If you are plinking all mags seem to work. The problem comes to the forefront when reloading in a match with rounds still in the mag. My experience has been regardless of which ones I have tried will not drop free during a reload with rounds remaining in the mag. Top round slides forward not allowing it to drop free.
End up pulling the mag out. Very frustrating.

He has worked there now for 6 years and they have been running 24/7 the whole time.

From a friend who works at Federal
"We are running at capacity right now and just keeping up with loaded round demand for the most part. We have got an expansion plan in the works right now to increase supply"

I worked stage 1 and all of the DQ's were because of the door. Everyone of them opened the door but it did not go as planned, hand slipped off the door, opened it too hard and it bounced back at them or the timing was off and in and attempt to avoid the door they broke the 180 bringing the gun back to the right.
One way to help eliminate the problem would have been a bigger shooting box at the start position.

Don't see why not. And I hope this doesn't go 6 pages.

Remember when there was only Open and limited and when the wide bodies first came out? 1911's were competing against the wide bodies for quite some time. If you don t have enough competition/competitors in SS put your big boy pants on and enter limited.
That is challenging.
