Thanks for the prompt responses guys.
I don't know what I'm doing as it turns out the cases were still set at factory 000... I didn't know how to work them...lol...
Both are open now...

I inherited several Pelican pistol cases with the combination locks.
I don't have the combinations. Is there a way to open these without trying each and every combination?

9+ years of heavy use on my Rebel 17. Still using original parts.

Thank you Ludde!

What website are these being ordered from?

I learned about the bulged case back in the 90's when brass fired in my Smith 5906 wouldn't chamber in a quality 1911 9mm. After that anything fired in the 5906 was kept separate.
Brass fired in machine guns with bulging was all over as well.
My guess is a loose chamber was an inexpensive way to ensure reliability.
I've been shooting major for years and never experienced bulging. The primer pockets would eventually loosen up, however. I have seen case ruptures in brass by Win, Browning and Herters. Never a problem with Blazer, FC or R-P with major.

Seen the same problem with brass fired in a oversized chamber.
Tried the U die etc. but my roll sizer made it easy to remove the bulge.

My 9mm loads do this same primer flow with Ginex in my P365X Macro but not when used for 9mm Major in my Czechmate.

Summit is my choice for poly coated bullets and I've used about every brand available over the past several years.
Using the 115 and 124 in standard 9mm and 9mm Major, respectively.
So far, I've shot thousands of them in 4 different pistols and 1 PCC.

I've got the new Garmin Xero C1 and have used it for about 2 months.
There is nothing else available that comes close for now.

I got some AA#7 with my Garmin Xero from Grafs using the notify me when in stock feature. About 4 weeks ago.
Powder Valley and Midsouth seem to have it off and on also.
-
My preference is for AA#7/SWMP but I also have HS6.
Just bought 8lbs of AA#7 a couple weeks ago.
-
I bought the manual version without problem. It came via DHL.
-
I've been looking myself but found none. Switched to the US produced version, AA#7, until SWMP becomes available again. Just bought some from Grafs.

Per LC on Facebook.

Tried the Ginex SPP today. Using S&B OFB that I ran through the the sizer and swager on my RL1050 then hand primed. No lube.
Just the right amount of tension IMHO, certainly not hard to seat and no high primers.
Next, I'll try some older brass with loosening primer pockets and see how they do with those.

I have the same problem with the manual rollsizer.

Badman appears to have the same design in both wax and polymer coated...

Interesting...here it's rifle and pistol guys vs Sporting Clays guys, 900 vs less than 20, respectively.
Here we have a junior rifle league and 4H youth groups a person could donate to. I imagine they would turn around and sell them to get funds.
I know one shooter who is selling off his inventory as no one in his family wants them.
I guess there is no easy solution.

Brass plated steel 9mm cases?
in 9mm/38 Caliber
Posted
I've been seeing those lately in 9mm.
When they're laid flat on a towel to dry after tumbling I run one of those magnets for picking up nails over the whole batch.
Also see magnetic nickel plated 308...
