  1. Well I will never have the chance to come to the great state of Texas . But, I'm sure you guys and girls have fun shooting your big sticks. But, Being unlucky living up here in NY where we can only have 10 rds. mags. So we reload and reload and reload. WE still have fun and new shooters learn to reload and reload without have any frustrations. Because that is what it is. As for as Open class USPSA I think they still have a mag rule of 170mm ? (limitation)

So, That they don't have a donkey dick sticking out the bottom of their weapon. Not trying to be a A but . Just jealous that we can't have more then 10 rds. and when is enough , enough?

But, I can see your side if 1 shooter has 42 round mag then I would what one also.

  2. WOW !! I can't believe we are having such a hissy fit over having to make 1 reload (maybe) on a stage at a pistol match. Sounds like somebody needs to change their diapers.

NOW, Do you really thing for one moment that if you have to make one or two reloads in a match. That people will not what to shoot PCC or give it up. You must be smoking some bad shit.

Shooting PCC is the best thing to come along in the shooting sport in a long time.

BUT, THAT'S JUST MY VEIW. I COULD BE WRONG ?

  3. I see a few of the Delta Point Pro's for sale . Is there a problem with them? Also I see on E-bay there are some China made copies for a cheap price. How can you tell if you are getting the real deal or one of these China copies . Thanks for any input.

  4. Hey Dean,

Made a change on the prize payout. Instead of Winning team. I'll payout a $300.00 REWARD for the Highest finishing team, that all 3 members have a GB CUSTOM MAGWELL .

Teams must sign up before 1st shot fired day of match to qualify for REWARD. If you need a magwell go to www.gbcustomaccessories.com  If you pay using pay-pal I'll give you a $10.00 credit back using code #3man3gunprize. Also would like to have a sponsor picture of team and their rifles after match.

Thanks for having this great match again!

    Gerry

After reading your concerns about the limitations or the compatibility of the GB Custom Magwell, I posted new pictures to my website. Please follow the link above. Photos include coupled and 60 round mags, as well as installations on the Mega Arms .308 and .223, and the millspec lower receiver. If you have any additional question please contact me.

The GB Magwell can also be purchased at shooterssource.com

    Thank you

  6. Dan it sure made a difference with the Sierra Bullets. Now I have plenty of bullets . But not sure if reloading cost vs. buying metal match ammo?

For me brass is the big cost. I've found out it's a lot easier to reload with fully processed brass then trying to resize my own. So I'll be looking for some ammo for the close fast targets and us the ammo that I have found that shoots small groups for the long range stuff.

    See yah !

  7. So in another topic I stated I had a problem with bullet tumble. So I measured some of the bullet dia. and then I pulled some of my Nato rounds on request of Dan. Found that under the crimp the bullets were between .3055 - .306 dia. Finally this week the weather was nice enough to do some testing. This is what I found out. First I shot some ammo that I new worked well. It grouped about a 1" group. Then I shot some reloads with some bullets for a gun show(they tumbled). Next I shot Nato 147 gr.

(they tumbled). So I had some old Hanson factory(shot good-1"group)(How old-$6.95 a box of 20 !). I tried one more reload w/ Sierra 155gr bullets(shot really good one big hole. Lastly I used some Metal match ammo( made a nice clover leaf hole).

After that I shot all rounds threw my 1985 M1a 16" Bushmaster Springfield w/iron sights . This old girl eat everything with not 1 tumble. Better the ammo the better the group(2.125"-1.0").

    Test- was at 50yards .

Rifle- was my built Mega Arms upper and lower w/BHW barrel, w/VX-6 scope on 6 power , shot from a bipod on a table top .

The main point I needed to show that the BHW barrel was not my problem. And if I what to shoot with the Big Boys I need to use good ammo and do more testing before going to a match.

Now after this , I can go for a beer!

  8. I've been using my FN SLP for about 4 years now. I have used different length tubes on it and as long as I don't shorten the tube spring to much I haven't had any problems with the shotgun. About the only mods. I've done is open the loading port and I shorten the lifter gate so it won't grab my thumb. The SLP is on the heavy side but as long as it works I happy. It has the 22" barrel and shoots slugs point of aim. Hope this helps.
