What I know is that leveling is critical.
That's why there is sights and a libelle on the chrono.
For my self, I find the concept interesting, but I would like to have the sensors in front and the display by my side.
I know they have new items up their sleeve, so maybe we will se a upgraded version soon.
On youtube there is a video where the SuperChrono is compared to Kurzzeit PVM21.

The command set is a little flaky and cumbersome but with a little work I'm figuring them out.
It's getting there, just very limited time to work on it.

The TTL-232R-3V3-AJ ("audio jack") is a USB to Serial (TTL level) converter cable which allows for a simple way to connect TTL serial interface units to USB. This version of FTDI's USB to TTL serial adapter cable uses a 3.5mm audio jack on the serial interface and has it's I/O pins configured to operate at 3.3V levels.The TTL-232R-3V3-AJ uses a FT232RQ unit which is housed inside the USB 'A' connector, and is terminated at the end of a 1.8 m (70") cable with a 3.5 mm audio jack which provides access to transmit (Tx), receive (Rx), and GND signals.
