  1. Thanks guys for your advice. Turns out that the 4 caliber conversions I have all have a small spring under the station one locator, In a call to Dillon the tech said to remove the spring. I did and the problem was solved. I bought the XL650 several years ago and at that time this spring came with all conversion kits. Since then I guess they've been eliminated. Again thank you all for your comments......Bob
  2. Recently purchased some Speer Deepcurl bullets in 38 cal 158g (only thing the store had in stock) But I can't find any load data at all ! Speer part # is 4215 (which used to be Gold Dot hollow points?) The Speer website gives no loading data, no OAL or powder callouts? I have Win 231 & AA#5 and would like to use one or the other? There is load data for the #4215 Gold Dots in the Old Speer manual, but I'm not confident that info is correct for #4215 Deepcurl bullets? Hope someone can help !!
  3. Loading .357 (all Starline brass) and using the #2 shellplate and the #2 station 1 locator. The shell case is trying to enter the slot in the shellplate too high. The rim of the brass is too high it is not lined up with the slot in the shellplate so I have to push the brass down by hand, maybe only about .030 to .050 then it snaps right into place. I don't see any way to adjust this? I backed off the shellplate bolt and this fixed the alignment problem, but then caused the OAL's to be all over the place? Shooting for OAL of 1.570, some are 1.580 and on the low end 1.540.
