  1. I've bought the new Frankford wet tumbler and like it a lot so far. For my 9mm I ran the cases through once with just water, Dawn, and lemishine. This cleaned them real well so I wouldn't gum up my dies. I then deprimed and resized them before another pass through the tumbler with pins. The pins are a pain to separate but I've worked that out mostly. I know it's not necessary but the nice shiny brass makes me happy and the primer pockets are very clean. Also for anyone that's looking at wet tumbling, the Frankford tumbler will hold 30lbs according to the manual

  2. Why does it really matter if the only affect is with heavy loads and a lightened bolt carrier? As sport shooters we run light loads 95% of the time anyways. I know some may take their versa Max hunting and use heavier loads but you could solve that issue by buying a stock bolt carrier and swapping out. My lightened carrier gun has run 100% since I got it where my stock bolt carrier did not in my other gun

  3. Where are you guys getting the Hornady bullets? I'm having trouble finding any

Sign up for notifications from places like nachez, midway and other suppliers and be ready to buy in a hurry. They do come into stock, but go relatively quickly.

Thanks. I'll have to do that soon

  4. I don't have experience with the sx2 but in my versa Max the loading port is cut back far enough that the follower is showing. I believe there are other areas for it to catch on and relieving that area for ease of loading does not affect it catching. Maybe someone with an sx2 can chime in. I can send you a picture if you'd like. Let me know

  5. I've used 30 round mags for a monopod on longer range stages with good luck. Of course he asked about 308 and those mags are a little shorter

If he's using Pmags in the .308, Arredondo makes a base pad for them.

I'll have to look at those for my pmags. Do you have any experience with them? What's the quality?
