The picture is a Caspian Race Ready, from what I can remember that gun is SS legal.(I built it)

Caspian makes alum. main spring housings, the frame under the grips can be opened up to loose weight. The magwell can be opened up a little but with a little welding it can be really opened up wide and deep. The dust cover can also be trimmed shorter if desired.

Same thing with my springer, but on mine it's the side of slide that rubs with the dust cover. i think it's a fitting issue although i'm not sure...

i too have the SPS mag but with a locally made base pad and can hold 19 with a little extra push to sit it...i'm just curious though with this base pad from SV. Below is the reply of Brandon of SV re: the base pad

"Our most recent IPSC Standard basepads will only fit in the box with a factory SV pistol. This allows 19rnds to fit in the magazine and still fit in the box on our 124mm magazine. The OAL of the basepad is .575.

It's 1.656 long x 1.299 wide (1,345 including the finger ridges) x .912 tall (end away from muzzle) x 1.107 (closest side to muzzle). The top of the groove is about .070 from the top.
