  1. I ordered one and they look really nice. I was a little disappointed with the one I got last year. I just hope this one is a little longer than the one I got last year.

Should be the same length if it's a TW match shirt. Long shirts are not an option when ordering in bulk for matches.

Crap. Well I guess I will have another shirt hanging in my closet I can't wear.

  2. My comments were not ment to start a pissing match, an argument, to see who can offend the most people with profanity or slang words to describe the mentally handicap. No one cares how much you spend on reloading ammo or hours you practice. People care about having a good time, meeting new people and enjoying themselves. If it was all about who spends the most money we can start comparing paychecks.

  3. Please tell me that all of the guns will be random. Usually division and match winners are not in need of a new gun. I think most of them place them back up on Enos to sell.

That isn't true at all. Just because you practice and win your division/class doesn't mean you don't need a new gun. Why don't I just keep sucking and not practicing…maybe then I will be deserving of a prize?

Its a competition not T-ball where every kid gets a prize. I won my division at Area 6 and didn't get a gun. I was like why in the hell did I shoot 6,000 rounds in 3 months practice. I could have just showed up and won a gun?

Funny you mention t ball since your acting like a 5 year old. "Sucking" does not make you deserving of a gun. Some people do not have the time, money, physical capability or skills to win a division. That does not mean they don't deserve the same opportunity to win a nice prize. Winning is for bragging right, egos and a plaque. Shooting 6k rounds in 3 months? Sounds like you should hope for the shuman barrel as a door prize. Actually give me your name and if I win it I will toss it your way as it seems you need it more than I do.

  4. My buddy has a 3500. Runs pretty poorly on any 2 3/4" shells, especially light loads.

+1 on this. The 3-1/2 inch guns won't really run with anything under 1-1/4oz high-base shells. Great goose and turkey gun, not so much for 3gun

I have a 3500 and have had very few fte or ftf. I run federal bulk from Wal-Mart and have about 500 shells through it. The only thing it wouldn't run was my rio low recoil slugs. I like the extra 1/2" for the shells to slide in.

  5. The reason we used adjustment screws instead of grinding on the components is because of the wear issue with case hardened parts. If you can move the engagement around without grinding back so far that you lose the hard surface, durability remains unchanged, while the trigger pull gets better. Biggest issue on the Stoeger is that it drops the hammer about 1/8 inch from the disconnector to the primary trigger hook EVERY TIME you release the trigger. This is about triple the distance an AR trigger resets. That is the main reason the Stoeger can never have a 2lb trigger, it would beat itself to death. It would require a complete redesign of the disconnector and trigger to REALLY put a nice trigger pull on one. We just came up with the best fix we could for what is already there without grinding all the surface hardening off.

Depending on the Jomnie value of the steel, what elements were added and if oil or water was used to quench. The case depth could easily be more than 0.5mm deep. If anyone has access to a Vickers hardness tester they should check to see how deep it is so we know if we get an grind on it.

  6. Is there anyway of setting this gun up so that when you stuff the mag full you can pull the bolt and get the mag to release and load the chamber? My FN operates like that and wondering if I'm missing something or have to use the shell release(bolt down on empty chamber start)

    Thanks

    Mildot

Try playing with the little silver button by the trigger guard. A little more tricky than normal semi autos

  7. 635 shells thru the M3000 test mule this weekend. After running thru 200 rounds of Winchester Universal and Federal Walmart Bulk Pack I tore into the two cases of Rio and Estate shells I bought. I quickly learned that about 2-3/25 of the Rio and 5-10/25 of the Estate will not extract once you heat up the chamber with a 100+ continuous rounds. With the gun still sizzling I ran 125 rounds of AA's thru it again and it ran flawlessly. Moral of the story run everything you can thru your gun to make sure it will work especially if you plan on feeding it trash.

Jesse, I have been running rio's recently because of the price and availability, have you had any troubles with them? Also when you're extension tube is that far out, does that cause any troubles with the wad or shot hitting it? I don't know how long it takes until it opens up.

  8. So the Nordic but clamped on with zero modifications on my 3500. However the low drag follower did not work as it was much longer then the stock.

You ordered the one for the Nova didn't you? I did the same thing. I think you have to order the generic 12 gauge follower because I ordered the nova one and it's too long in my m3500.

  9. I got a 3500 and took it clay shooting today to start breaking it in and it was a jam-o-matic with the Federal Target Loads. Not impressed so far.

For those that opened up there loading port is the stock lifter long enough? I was looking at it today and it seemed as if I'd torch my finger on it during the reload.

I would start by cleaning it. I shot mine with the lightest loads I could find. I also ran federal bulk, Winchester bulk and rio bulk. No failures in 250 shells thru my 3500.
