    CZ 712 Capacity

    I'm trying to figure out what the capacity is of a Cz712 Utility. On the CZ website it says its a 4+1. My field model is a 4+1, but I've read people say that the Utility is 5+1. Any help is appreciated.

    Just found one on Buds this morning and snatched it up. I have a field version and love it. I can't wait to get my hands on it and start making it how I want it.

    Looks like the Nordic +3 extensions are as rare as hens teeth right now. Hopefully they start popping up again soon.

    RIA 1911 Match

    Plan on using my RIA Match for some 3 gun competitions coming up. The only thing I have done with it is put a better set of grips on it and put one of these cheap plastic mag wells on it. Anyone see any sort of disadvantage with using this set-up?

    CZ 712 Utility Questions

    I sold off my Stoeger 2000 Defense that I set-up for 3 gun to fund a gas gun purchase. I planned on putting it off for a few months until a buddy asked me to shoot the Colt 3 Man 3 Gun in April. Now i'm wanting to get a gun together so i can start practicing with it.

    I've decided on the CZ 712 Utility. I have the field model and its been a spectacular gun. I just have a few questions that I was hoping to clear up before I started orderering all the goodies.

    1) I definitely want to go with the Nordic Extension. I plan on using ext choke tubes and wanted the mag ext to come even with the choke tube. What size extension would put it past the barrel by about an inch or so?

    2) Any choices for a bolt handle? I saw that Nordic made one, but it seemed short lived. I saw some guys getting some welded up. What ones are you liking the best?

    3) I'm not sure about opeing up the loading port yet, I'll have to see how it works for me as is. If I do plan on doing it, any suggestions on the best way to get it done.

    4) Has anyone had the lifter welded up? Who is the guy to send it to if I want it done?

    I'm going to go with the 3-gun gear side saddle as well. Any other suggestions is greatly appreciated.

    Hey guys. My name is Adam and I'm from Syracuse, NY. I've been shooting for the better part of my life and have been shooting informal 3 gun at my club for over the past year. I sold the Stoeger 2000 Defense that I set up and now looking into putting a CZ 712 Utility together and this seems like the place to ask the million questions that I have.
