Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks for the replies. This definitely gives me a place to start. Much appreciated. TeaMan
  2. I'm new to this forum and it seems like a great place for this question. I have been loading for a 40 S&W mainly and also ave a 10mm that I want to work with when I get this one figured out. My 40 S&W is a subcompact and shooting rested working hard on form, I am having a heck of a time finding a bullet it likes. The accuracy isn't acceptable. It's a new pistol and I keep it clean. About 500 to 700 rounds through it. The two powders I have been using mainly are WSF and AA#7. I have found so far the the heavier the bullet, the better it groups. I'm now up to 180 grain bullets and picked up some cast bullets as well as jacketed. I'm finding no data for 180 grain cast bullets for either 40 S&W or 10mm for either of my two powders. I found a little data for 185 grain, but where I'm from no one has 185 grain cast. The 185 grain data is very minimal. Does anyone have a starting load for either or both of these powders? Point me to where to find something would be great also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks TeaMan
