  1. We'd like to also welcome MBX Extreme as a gold level sponsor to this year's match. We are very happy to have them on board this year. I think the quality of their products don't need any further explanations, they make great stuff.
  2. We are also happy to announce that Walther Arms has added RRCB to it's contingency program schedule. If you own a Walther, you have a great opportunity to add to your collection if you win at the match. Please visit http://www.waltherarms.com/winwithwalther/ for more details on how you can win with Walther.
  3. I would like to recognize some of our sponsors that have come on board already for this year. Support those that support us!!
  4. Livingston Gun Club (LGC) will be hosting our 6th annual Ryan Rocks!!! Charity Blast on July 6-8, 2018 in Brighton, Michigan. "Early bird" registration for $95 ends June 1st at 12am. June 1st and beyond is $125. All juniors shoot for $50; please contact the MD for registration instructions if signing up a junior. Same format as years' past with 8 stages totaling over 200 rounds + chrono. Entire match shot in 1 day, with competitors deciding which day they wish. Space will be available for competitors to shoot on friday with staff. Match gun, again built by Ryan Spencer from Spencer Race Guns, will be raffled on sunday at the conclusion of the match. 2017 raised over $21K to RROAI, so we have big expectations to live up to in order to beat it. No refunds after June 14th. Please check in and follow for updates on sponsors, stage designs and other general match announcements. Thank you and we all look forward to seeing everyone again in the summer. Jeff Gerak, Match Director
  5. It's another great year for the Ryan Rocks!!! Charity Blast (RRCB) being held at Livingston Gun Club (LGC) in Brighton, Michigan on July 7-9, 2017. This is our 5th year anniversary and it's going to be better than ever. Major match sponsor this year will be Spencer Race Guns (SRG) with the gun raffle once again being built by Ryan Spencer. Same format as before: 8 stages + chrono, 200+ rounds. This year will feature a blend of technical, accuracy and "hoser" stages to test everyone's complete skill set. Registration and squadding will be on practiscore, and opens on Friday, January 13th at 6pm EST. entry fee is same as last year at $95. You can search for Ryan Rocks on practiscore's website or follow the link below. We have grown with each passing year and we can't let that stop is now. We have a big goal to surpass with last year raising just under $19K. This has to be our year of getting over $20K and we're that close. Our total amount raised in our 4 years so far is hanging close to $45K. Stages and sponsors will continuously be updated as they develop. I can't wait to see everyone at the range. 11. I am very pleased to announce that Bob Vogel has agreed to hold a class in conjunction with this year's Ryan Rocks Charity Blast. The class will be held on friday, July 8th from 8-4 and all class attendees will shoot the match on saturday with Bob. Cost for the class is $250, and cost for shooting the match is $95, therefore, $345 total. The friday class session will be held at our neighboring gun club, Livingston Conservation and Sports Association (LCSA) located at 8532 McClements Rd. Brighton, Michigan 48114. 13. Additional Stage sponsors that many are returning sponsors from last year and previous years:
  14. Here's a friendly update for some of our sponsors. Sorry for not getting this out sooner, but better late than never right? Many thanks to everyone involved with making this a very successful match that has become the biggest fundraising event for RROAI. Without further ado: Match Sponsor for our second year...
  15. Had the same conflict last year too. This is our 4th year having it on this weekend and we've grown every year. Last year was our biggest success even with them being on the same weekend. Hopefully it will be different next year, but this has become our go to weekend to have it every year.
  16. Thanks John!! I'm a little behind with making announcements, so those will be coming soon. Jeff
  17. Once again I'd like to welcome Nowlin Arms as a sponsor for this year. More updates to come... Jeff
  18. Livingston Gun Club in Brighton, Michigan will be hosting the Ryan Rocks!!! Charity Blast July 8-10th, 2016. It will follow a similar format as previous years with 8 stages + chrono and approximately 200+ rounds. Stages are still being worked on, but will be posted as soon as they are approved. Once again we will be having Phoenix Trinity as our major match sponsor. We have other sponsors again this year that will help contribute as always. Ryan Spencer from Spencer Race Guns will be building another fine handgun to be raffled off at the conclusion of the match with all the proceeds going to Ryan Rocks!!! Last year we raised just under $14,000, which was more than our first two years combined. I will continue to update everyone as more things continue to develop. I hope to see everyone return this year and hopefully many new faces. We were close to capacity last year and I would love to have us reach that point this year. It will be another fun, challenging match in the middle of our summer season. Registration and payments can be done directly through Practiscore with the following link: https://practiscore.com/upcomingmatches?s=ryan+rocks Any questions, concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me -- jeffrey.gerak@gmail.com Thank you again, Jeff
  19. Great big thanks to everyone involved with the match this year. From the staff, the shooters who traveled long distances, the sponsors, we had an awesome match again this year. It's getting harder and harder to top the previous year and next year we have our work cut out for us. We will do what we can to make it shine and have it be a memorable match the best we can. Together with all the match entry fees, the match gun raffle and monetary donations made during the match, we raised over $13,000!!!! To put that in perspective, our first 2 years raised $12,000 combined. Thank you everyone!!! We will be at it again next year on July 9-11, 2016. Set your calendars. Jeff
  20. Sometimes that intensity helps us become better competitors. Glad you enjoyed the match and made the trip up to Michigan. We all hope to see you again and hope you return next year. We'll run into each other soon enough.
  21. Thanks Eric. I received it yesterday and will hopefully have you registered by tonight.
