Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I live in Riverside close to WPAFB and WSU. I only know of Miamisburg Sportsman club that has an actual USPSA sanctioned match. Then there is SimTrainer in Moraine that has there own league that is similar. I intend on going to one or both soon but since I'm lacking spare magazines it would be almost pointless unless 4minute reload times would be ok. Once I sell my polymer witness (Force 99R to be exact) I will buy more mags and a good holster for competition.
  2. I have a new Tanfo Match with the front accessory rail. Love the gun but I got to thinking, I don't want to drill and tap for a optics mount but would like a simple red dot. Are there any options that use the front rail instead of drilling the frame? Or is there a stability issue in doing this? Another option would be a slide mounted red dot but I'm not sure that anyone makes one that fits the Match's rear sight cutout. I could make something custom for the front accessory rail but I am not flush with cash at the moment or foreseeable future.
  3. I have been to these forums a few times while searching out info, mainly about Tanfoglio. A couple of weeks ago I purchased a new Tanfoglio Match in 9mm. I want to get into competition soon and so far it looks like I will be limited to USPSA Limited or L10. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I still need a decent holster for this and 3-4 more mags but that may take awhile. Love the forums thus far. Some may recognize the user name from ohioccwforums.org and I'm one and the same.
