If you already have know the good order of the stages, your gun runs great and you have the requisite visual processing speed to execute the movements at the speed to be a senior world champ then I'd say there is really nothing to it other than repetition at the desired speed.
The mental side of it and creating all day match fitness are the other areas I would look into. You absolutely can not go wrong by being stronger and more confident mentally and then having a body that doesn't get tired and worn down by standing around in the sun for 7 hours.
The banners Ken makes are awesome. Ken also has a book that breaks down stages and training. It called something like I fell the need for speed.

That’s for sure. I ordered on Feb 13th from Mark 7. With them only being able to get 3 out a month I doubt I see it anytime soon.

What month do you expect all dealer orders to be taken care of? That would be great info for those that ordered from a dealer to know.
I don’t think they have a clue. Only thing they can say for sure is “maybe next month.” -

I'm sitting at a cross roads, looking for an upgrade to either a 1050 or an Evolution. I've been leaning Mark 7 but about the time I was ready to make the decision, they stopped taking orders. Now I'm told others are getting calls saying their previous orders will not be honored. Does anyone know if the Evolution will be available? and maybe more importantly, is it really worth the premium and the wait? I really don't see spending the money to go with the Revolution where I believe orders are still being honored.
What orders are not being honored? This is the first I have heard of this. -
So what is the wait time on the evolution presses. Waited to upgrade to a 1050 to see how this was gonna fair and it looks great. I don’t much like the auto drive stuff but I think I am all in for a manual evolution and if I do want to automate I can do that in the future but I like pulling my handle [emoji23]
I ordered manual evolution from mark7 feb 13th and still waiting. Here is the update I got at the first of August when I checked on it.
We should be shipping your machine this month. It really does all depend parts coming in. We noticed one part that was out of spec which caused a slight delay. Almost there brother…. -
Just got shipping confirmation that my evo pro has shipped and I should have it Aug 14th ordered it from mark 7 on Jan 29th. Looking forward to getting started loading with it. Will keep everyone updated.
Nice. This gives me some hope that I will see mine soon. Was told last week I should see it at the end of the month or first of next month. -
So you sold a perfectly good operating 1050 and “bought” a press that doesn’t exist? Really? wow. Why?
I was not a fan of the 1050 to be honest and I got offered crazy money for it so I took it. Fell for the hype on the evolution so now I’m stuck waiting. Like I said I fell like a total sucker.

I went with the handle version. I got a 9 year motor for it already, and two more for when he decides to move out.

Mark7 is using what I call the “Apple method”... they (apple/mark7) introduce a new iPhone (reloader from mark7) and it’s the badestassed thing since the double stack magazine, they hype the phone, they market the phone.... “everyone” wants the new phone, but you can’t buy one. A bunch of dumbasses, you, go to the Apple store everyday until they can actually buy this new magical phone no one has seen. It works. They even already got your money too right? See.

Your in better shape then me. We were moving and had a guy make a nice offer on my 1050 so I went ahead and sold it. Only thing I got currently is a single stage. -

I’m thinking to consolidate my firearms to Glock and 2011s because I feel it would be easier to stock up on magazines, aftermarket support, etc. However with Glocks, the front sight naturally points high for me on the initial presentation, compared to my 2011/CZ/Sig/HK firearms. Does anyone have personal experience with reducing the hump and creating a more traditional grip angle? Another idea was to go with a Polymer 80 or Lonewolf frame, but I’m not familiar with the reliability compared to an OEM frame. Thank you for your time and input.
My buddy runs a 2011 open gun and recently set up a 34 for CO he was having the issue of having to bring the muzzle down to find the dot. He picked up some extra back straps and experimented with cutting the bottom half off and finding a sweet spot for him.
He is running a 34 with a vortex and I didn’t get to try it with the full strap. I had to hunt for the dot with his set up. It might be something for you to try out. -
I have not, but other in this thread have. I ordered mine (Evolution from DAA) on June 6th so it will be two months in a few days. What did you order and when did you order it?

Having a hard time finding videos on youtube showing the Evo, Evo PRO or Revo in action. Its Mark7s few videos and some by triggerwarning. Isnt there more machines out there or is owners just not willing to show them?
I don’t think that many are out in the wild yet. Orders placed with mark 7 haven’t shipped yet and I think shooters connection has only gotten 5-10 units last I heard. -
My local shops all have had it on the shelf for awhile now. I picked up a few pounds 3 months ago to do some testing with.

A local guy has been running one for a few months now and it’s been solid for him. I shoot with him every other week and have yet to see him have a issue with it. After watching him with it I am on a waiting list for one to come into our local shop for my son to get started with.

I think Mark 7 is taking it from the "first come first serve" point of view. Both DAA and Shooter's Connection ordered their 20+ machines at Shot Show as soon as it was unveiled.
So I could cancel my order I placed at the first of February and order from you and get it faster? Of course that is if you still have any left.
I’m cool with dealers getting them first and all but I can’t lie that I fell ripped off if someone orders 4 months after me and gets there’s and I still have a month or more to wait.

what are the chances that a guy like me who ordered one from Shooters Connection would get the evolution press before July 4th week? I just checked and I have it off which is rare.
And I will be needing a 9mm conversion asap but already have the pistol bullet feeder, would it be best to put in an order for that now before I get the press?

Last time I checked with them I was told that conversions and extra tool heads would not be available at release to insure that presses got out. Was told it may be a few months before I can get them.

I had no issues running the mbx mags in my 9 major open gun. I’m having issues now that I have switched to super comp. The ammo is to long and binding up in some mags and not in the others.
I ordered some ammo from a local manufacturer and also tried Atlanta Arms to test out. I also asked the few locals I found who shoot 38 if I could get a few rounds of there ammo to trouble shoot the mags. I figured out that between the 5 mags they all had a different max length of ammo. The shortest rounds I had were 1.235 and there was one mag that this length could not get into the mag body. The ammo I tested measured from 1.235 to 1.280 and it seemed every mag had a sweet spot in that 0.045 range where the rounds would get stuck. I also tested all the ammo with a old and a new version of the sti mag and there was no issues.
I spent about a hour earlier tonight figuring all this out so haven’t came up with a solution just yet.

I thought I didn’t need a back up gun until I had to send mine back for some minor work. Now I am trying to do the figures so I can get a back so I don’t have to go through this again.
